Alright, so, I'm thinking about starting my own company from scratch. I'll begin the game with nothing, but I will have the same starting money as WWE (to give me a fair chance).
What wrestlers do you suggest I hire to start off? Remember, I'm not going to cheat, so nobody from WWE or under written contract to TNA or anything.

Right now, I'm running a 1989 NWA fed.
Signed right off the bat: Dynamite Kid, Jericho, Benoit, Regal, Steamboat, Scott Hall, Owen Hart and Barry Windham
Significant Alignment changes: Had Sting turn heel, Steamboat went heel, Hall came in as a babyface, Flair and Anderson were babefaces at the time, kept them that way.
Stables: 4 Horseman : Flair, Anderson, Scott Hall, Owen Hart Dark Carnival: Muta, Sid, Danny Spivey, Terry Funk, Cactus Jack Swat Team: Fatu, Samu, Samoan Savage, Oliver Humperdink
Tag Teams: World Champions - Sid and Danny Spivey, the Skyscrapers, just concluded a 90 rated feud with the Steiners, the champions for 4 months until that point. Titles have a 93 prestige.
US Tag Champions - Z Man and Brian Pillman. Just concluded an 85 ranked feud with Cactus Jack and Terry Funk. Hot feud with the Midnight Express sent them into upper mid-card.
Other teams:
Doom - feuded with the Steiners to open the game, Butch Reed is at 76 over, while Ron Simmons is lagging at 74.
Freebirds - Mostly used as my heel jobber team
Swat Team - See Freebirds
Steiners - Two of my most over faces. Have defeated Doom and a re-united US Express in feuds over the World Tag Team titles, but recently lost the belts to the Skyscrapers at Halloween Havok.
The Midnight Express - Bobby Eaton is now a 94 and Stan Lane a 90. My original US tag team champions, lost the titles to the Z Man and Brian Pillman in a feud that really helped both teams. With Cornette as their manager, the Express is ready for a top level feud with the Steiners.
The Road Warriors - Animal and Hawk now hover around the high 80s in overness and have had good feuds with the Sky Scrapers and the Midnight Express. They lost both, but are extremely over and match up well against both of those teams, as well as Doom.
The US Express - I signed Barry Windham to come in and tag with Mike Rotundo again for the US Express reunion, only this time, they are heels. Rotundo had a quick feud with Scott Hall before tagging with Windham. Windham has taken off where as Rotundo struggles in the low 70s. Probably won't have them team for too much longer. May have Dr. Death pair up with Rotundo in the Varsity Club to give him something to do.
Jack and Funk - I threw this tag team together and it works great. Recently put over Z Man and Pillman and will probably use them to build a new tag team or the Dynamic Dudes.
Dynamic Dudes - Both are at 52 over and struggle to make it on tv. Usually used as a jobber tandem, but sometimes pull the upset win via interference to push along a feud.
Singles:
World Champion: Ric Flair - Rated 100, NWA title prestige 95. Has had mediocre feuds with Sting, Steven Regal, and Ricky Steamboat. Surprisingly, the best feud was with Regal, in terms of ratings and feud score. Morale was low, but is now back up to 55.
US Champion: The Dynamite Kid - Rated 91, title prestige 90. Has feuded with the Great Muta over the TV title, but has since stepped into the role of US champion. Really doesn't feud, other than a quick one with Benoit. Used mostly to have a roving champion to help move other feuds along.
TV Champion: Lion Heart - Rated 100, title prestige 96. Jericho has been on fire since I hired him. Started at 40 over, and now, only 4 months in, is at 100 over. It helps that his stats are near perfect with a 100 charisma rating. Mostly used him in the first month on the Power Hour to job to Regal, but they put on 5* matches and he quickly gained overness. Had a 100 rated feud with Sting just end at Halloween Havok and is now set to feud with the Great Muta.
Up Coming Feuds:
Top: Ric Flair v. Wild Pegasus - Current Rating 95 Lion Hart v. The Great Muta - Current Rating 98 The Midnight Express v. The Steiners - Current Rating 95
Lower: Sting v. Scott Hall Sky Scrapers v. Pillman/Zman Regal v. Arn Anderson The Dynamite Kid v. Cactus Jack Lex Luger v. Hawk (Puts on 4 1/2 star matches EVERY time. Weird)
- Ian
I can do a running log if you guys would want. This was fun, ha.

How many wrestlers do you normally keep in your developmental territory? I only have about nine or ten guys in mine, and nobody of 45 overness.

I have Big Daddy V (w/Chirsty Hemme as manager) feuding with Glacier! over the Frozen Solid Ice Belt. (Think million dollar belt but it's for Glacier only)
Yes it's as bad as you would expect!

It'd be bad in the game because their stats are crap but if it could somehow come to life I'd buy the PPV payoff

I just hire people, and if I think their stats eat the hard one, I ship 'em to my developmental (in my ECW game, it's called The Extreme Underground). And I only call 'em up when the booker of TEU tells me they can't learn anything else. Jed Shaffer ~If they're overness is 60, but their stats are still increasing and nobody's saying "promote him", he stays. I got Monty Brown up to 90's in Speed, Tech and Brawling like that.

There is a technical problem I'm having. In one game, I have my own fed called American Championship Wrestling, and I'm doing super well.
However, I tried to get those scenarios and patches, but I can't figure out how to load them. If someone were to tell me, I'd sure appreciate it.

In the folder marked DATA, you just load the game file over the old one (or move the original game file to another location and replace it). Jed Shaffer ~It won't affect your gamesave, though, so don't worry.

Quick question regarding something Jed (I think) said in the other thread:
What is the thing that helps you alter your game called?? and if I get it will it screw up my save??

If this game was real Scott Taylor would be the greatest, most loved wrestler of all time.

If this game was real Scott Taylor would be the greatest, most loved wrestler of all time. He isn't? ... Also, how do people's morale start going down? World Champion Charlie Haas, who is on every show, is getting more and more depressed. I hired his friends to make him happy, he thanks me, his morale goes up for a week, and then it starts back down. Whatsupwithdat?!

I just put Jean-Paul Levesque in a fued with Piper and the fued started off at 98
Nvm had to scrap it, Piper was making HHH look bad on purpose and His overness fell drastically

Honestly, I think some people are just pre-determined to get pissed off. I think the game randomly picks people that are just going to be constantly mad about something, and eventually leave. If you already gave him the world title and he's still unhappy, then I dont think you can do much else....

It could also be a result of the feuds you put him in. Main Eventers and World Champs HATE having to feud with Midcarders and under.
