So I'm a little over a year into my game as TNA, and I'm Global and in competition with WWE. Whenever I try to negotiate with Christian Cage, he always says he's happy with his current contract and won't renegotiate for a written one. Any tips?

There's a good chance he'll go back to WWE if he remains on an open contract.

I had a hot midcard feud between Joey Ryan and Matt Cross. Cross wins, and I was gonna use it to help propel him and his partner Josh Prohibition to a tag title run.
Yeah, he went into rehab for cocaine a week later.
However, my problems with AAA are about to get a lot better ... they're bleeding money. I could buy them out, at the low price of just under 4 mil ... but I think I'll let 'em go bankrupt. They don't have anyone I want (their top stars are Test and DDP. No thanks).
Some of my feuds right now are:
Nigel McGuinness vs. Steve Corino Over the ROH World Tag Titles: The Briscoes vs. Murderdeathkill (Justice Pain & The Messiah) Bryan Danielson vs. Colt Cabana Roderick Strong vs. Dan Maff Over the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Kingston vs. Brent Albright
And my big one, Chris Hero (World Champion and my #1 heel) vs. BJ Whitmer (my #1 face). Whitmer has beaten Hero twice in tag matches, so Hero offered Whitmer a title shot at my January event ... provided he could defeat three of Hero's stablemates in a fatal-four-way elimination match. He did, faced Hero in a steel cage in the main event of the night, and lost thanks to the stable's new member slamming the door on Whitmer's head.
Jed Shaffer ~Hero's on his 7th month ... and he'll probably make it a year. Because Hero rules.

I put him in developmental for a little while, and when he was finished he was in the high 80s/90s in every stat. Awesome.

ECW, 1998. I've been in control for three years and we're now the biggest fed, with us and WCW global and WWF falling to low national level.
Jericho, Cactus Jack, Adam Copeland, Lance Storm, Eddie, Kid Vicious, Andrew Martin (Been in Development for two years, in the 90's in everything) and High Voltage are all 90+ over.
The thing that's pissing me off though, is that I want to do an invasion angle, but can't sign huge stars from other feds. Got DiBiase to be the mouth piece of the stable, and was waiting for Bret's, Owen's and Flair's contracts to end which happened to be about the same time.
None of them would sign for me. None. Not even with $300,000 with creative control. At main event. And even though I'm the biggest fed in the world. So freakin' annoying!

QUESTION: How do you start your own fed from scratch? I know that if you have been playing for two game years, you have the option to quit and form your own promotion. But is there a way to just start your own right from the beginning?
ANSWERS: - A black wedding is like that thing Undertaker did during the Attitude era where him and the ministry kidnapped Stephanie and tied her to his cross symbol, and she had on a long black wedding gown and was forced to marry Undertaker.
- To the guy who asked about running an all women's promotion, it is possible. I ran Shimmer (though I had to fix a lot of the stats prior to playing the game, since the roster was really outdated and inaccurate). I started at about 25% image at Regional. Staying authentic to the real Shimmer, I only hired women (not including staff) and I never resorted to any Bra-And-Panties matches or Bikini Contests. It worked surprisingly well. I got them up to National level, image of maybe 25% or so. I had many bonafide main eventers like Sara Del Rey, Lacey, and Beth Pheonix who had Over ratings in the 90's. I didn't get any further than this though, and eventually we dropped back down to Cult level and I got fired.

How do I get my 1985 scenario to work?

Just started the "Fusient buys WCW" scenario. I cheated and gave myself Nitro as a TV show just to survive. I'm currently going through the (terrible) roster. Harris Brothers were axed and Jeff Jarrett was so angry that he accepted my release offer. Also axed: Terry Funk, Jim Duggan, and I think one other person. Hired: Sonjay Dutt and Kazarian. I tried to hire Kurt Angle (whose contract is ending) but he doesn't want to leave.

I too have started the Fusient WCW scenario, and did a bit of purging. Gone are: The Harris Twins, Kronik, Buff Bagwell, Lex Luger, Sid, Kevin Nash, Earnest Miller, Jim Duggan, Alex Wright, Disco Inferno, nearly all the women, Dusty Rhodes (I love the Dream, but not at more than $180,000 per month), Stevie Ray, Tony Schiavone, and probably some people I'm forgetting.
I have added: Steve Corino, Rob Van Dam, Jake Roberts, CW Anderson (and his manager, Arn Anderson) and Ted Dibiase as a heel manager (currently handling Mike Awesome)
I also have nearly every current indy darling signed to developmental deals, and a few of the younger guys from the initial roster have been sent down as well. If I've finally got my finances in check and don't go broke, I should be set to go.
