But TNA always claimed that they don't do that stuff. WWE doesn't try and claim that they don't do goofy stuff. WWE claims to be "reality TV" as well. Since when? I've been a life long fan and have never heard that phrase used.

Well it's more reality TV than Reality shows are. At least to me it is.

Well, here's the problem with that. Chikara's comedy is actually clever for the most part, and honestly, with the exception of the undercard, they don't do that much wacky comedy, and what comedy they do, they keep fresh. WWE and TNA's version of "Comedy" involves ramming the same idiotic jokes over and over into the ground(DAMN!!! I'm-a Italian-a!!!!), and the sometimes just plain stupid(Pretty much every TNA "comedy" skit recently, yes, even those involving Kevin Nash, who has gotten REALLY lame). There's a BIG difference. Again, from what you've said... It doesn't sound that much different. Then you're not looking at is objectively. Chikara-Clever and relatively creative, though incredibly cartoonish, considering it's target audience(Harcore smarks and younger fans and families) WWE/TNA-Sitcom style comedy written by idiots who don't seem to have ever watched a wrestling show in their lives constantly repeating the same jokes OVER and OVER and OVER again. But it's not even worth arguing. You have your opinion, I have mine.

Just playing devil's advocate, Spank... Although, I must confess you aren't doing a great job.
"Clever" is subjective.

People diss TNA, because they think they're both booking and business experts. Who if were in charge would be getting 8.0 ratings and a million PPV buys by booking Jerry Lynn vs Christopher Daniels in a 120 minute Iron Man Pure Rules match.

I just like comedy. It's all about sense of humor. So of course there is bias. I like what I like because I like it. Daggone it.
WWE: I liked the Jamie Noble/Hornswoggle interaction and its cartoonish antics. I find it funny. I don't apologize for that. Same for Santino Marella. Triple H harassing Vince with "ugly women" was horrible though.
TNA: Kurt Angle Verbally abusing his family was not funny. James Storm tracking down Rhino and harassing AA meetings were funny. That's my sense of humor. Also, when Abyss randomly popped up in the backseat of AJ's truck in order to scare Christian was just plain awesome.
CHIKARA: Oh...come on. So...so...so much goodness. However, there is the occasional crap. Ultra Mantis Black can be hit or miss sometimes.
Time for some more obvious comments: I enjoy laughing. I enjoy having a good time. I enjoy humor in wrestling.

I think it's more along the lines of they know it could be booked better for both marks and smarks. But instead, they're just seemingly trying to burn all their money matches.

Solely for the fact that nobody, except for those that buy every PPV (roughly $480 a year including UFC), would buy it. I think people can agree that a two hour match would get tiresome no matter who is in it. Yes, even if it were Jesus vs CM Punk vs Samoa Joe vs Big Daddy V.

But I can explain that though: I hate the news. And I have no urge to ever buy skin mags.

A lot of people may believe they can do better, but that's hardly just TNA. A lot of the WWE bashers have that same mentality.
But mostly they bash it because they think the product stinks. That's hardly TNA specific, WWE get a lot of it also.

The thing with TNA that has been said over and over on this board is they have so much protential in Talent. I just don't see how anyone can think that VKM going over MCMG in 90 seconds doesn't deserve to be bashed to hell. And also have all the championship belts on a man that is part of a big Steroid ring in Kurt Angle.

i know tna not as good as it should be lately, but why is it gettin less respect just cause pacman jones, I am not tryin be a tna mark but the wwe has had kfed pin its champion, and yet noone complains about it as much as pacman jones, obviously tna needs step up and fix its problems but why does it get hated on so much here, when wwe has equally bad things like a midget bein cruiserweight champ and buryin the cruiserweight division, is the wwe allowed to have crap and tna can't? OMG! ssjrobbie has returned, I can tell from the poor grammar and needless abbreviations! He used to be like an uber-tna mark who got banned for flamming wwe fans! The grammar styles are almost identical Why do I remember this guy?!?! (as posted in another of Laz's threads)

Everyone has the right to not like something. If you watch something on TV, it inputs your brain, and your brain outputs that it sucks, than that's fine.
The only thing that gets me about the TNhAters. Is how they all think they have access to TNA's business portfolios and go on about how they're going to go bankrupt in 6 months and they're worse than WCW 2000 and all this other hyperbole.
A few people on the internet not buying a PPV or not watching a show, is not reflective of how a product is doing with the general public.

True, so true it's painful, actually, but on the flip side of that coin, I believe that one of the best wrestlers in WWE being made to look like an idiot by a midget dressed as a leprechaun deserves to be bashed all to hell, but when I say that, my views on things are called "too harsh", and the segment is called "hilarious". Things are definetly backwards.

I don't know about him or you but If I was him, I'd rather be doing stupid comedy then almost killing myself wrestling for no one that cares.

I say the same thing about the company deserving to be bashed because of what they're womens' division looks like but that isn't cool for me to do, either because it's "normal".
