Wait... Sting is the one who has a restraining order out on Karen Angle? When I first read it, I thought it was the other way around. Very face like... "OFFICERS, KEEP THAT 120 POUND WOMAN AWAY FROM ME!!!!" I like it. Its something new (or at least something I don't remember) and actually shows a face having some intelligence. Same here. I think you can get a restraining order on virtually anyone.

Didn't everyone here whine when Christopher Daniels lost his title shot to Lethal?
Now that he's apparantly starting a fued with Lethal, what's the problem? If Angle lost cleanly to Lethal, and Daniels beat Lethal (clean or not it's hard to say), surely that would mean that a Daniels push is somewhere in the cards, and everyone here's been vying for it since he got "buried" by Sting.
Also, am I the only one to notice that the MCMG have been getting attention from Team 3D, and are being put over as faces?
Really, did the appearance of Rikishi just ruin everything and the whole company sucks right now simply because of Rikishi?
That's power, man.

Lethals loss to Daniels probably involved triple x intereference, having the face lose by cheating from the heel is pretty standard stuff. I don't like evaluating shows via the spoilers, they usually change a great deal in the editing process.

When are they going to advertise it? At the beginning of the SAME SHOW? What good is that? That's like having a PPV and you don't announce any matches until you're on PPV. WHY WOULD ANYONE TUNE IN IF THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN? Advertising something thirty minutes before it happens, on the SAME EXACT show where it's going to happen is the worst business strategy possible. If they had begun advertising this weeks ago, they might have been able to bring the rating higher by attracting attention. Now, the only people who will even know this match is going to happen are the extremely small minority on the net reading spoilers, and the same old same old people who watch TNA every week anyway.
No potential new viewers know this is going to happen. If TNA had begun building the match up a while ago, there would have been time for word of mouth to spread. Now? NO TIME.
And I absolutely call bullshit on the idea that it's worse to advertise. If they don't want to piss people off with the swerves...how about NO SWERVES? Why not just a straight match with a clean winner? Would that be so difficult? Is it so hard to NOT write bullshit? Would it pain Dutch Mantel, Jeff Jarrett, and Vince Russo to just let somebody win without cheating or interference or magic acts? They are so full of shit.
How can you defend these boobs? They've been in this business for a combined total of an entire human lifespan, and they haven't learned anything in that whole time. Dutch Mantel thinks it's the seventies and he's in Puerto Rico with all the gimmick matches, Jarret thinks it's the seventies and he's on Georgia Championship Rasslin', and Vince Russo still doesn't know what a clean win is. The idea is foreign to him. They are, together, the worst booking committee in modern wrestling, and possibly the worst writing staff in TV. They should know better, and they do. They just ignore everything good and continue to do everything bad. They are indefensible.

They just ignore everything good and continue to do everything bad. They are indefensible. sorry you are so mad about their advertising strategies. i am sure you do a lot better with your advertising right? did you ever stop to think that maybe they are having a big match like that on their weekly show so people will hear they did it, and think about tuning in. if they hyped up every big match and told people when anything big was going to happen, they could get lazy and only tune in if they see an advertisement for something big. whereas, with what tna is doing, by not advertising it you are throwing a bit of unpredictability in to it. if any show has a chance of something big happening there is more incentive to tune in than if you were guaranteed to be warned of anything big before hand. a few other notes about these tapings, - i can't believe people honestly complaining lethal lost a match. people complained the same way when lethal pinned daniels. being pinned by christopher daniels is not a burial.
- i was never into rikishi but i don't hate him. jeez you would think this guy won the world title in the wwe while only using about 8 moves or something. i didn't think he was that bad in the ring back then. it's not like he is "burying homegrown talent" when he lost to christian.
- don't hate on the shark boy

I'll wait to see the actual show before judging.

You know what really gives people an incentive to tune in to a show? Knowing what the smurf is going to happen on it. People don't waste their time on a mystery show. WWE hypes up their big matches for weeks - and saves them for PPV, where they'll draw money, but that's another story all together - and it works. WWE has millions of fans and they rake in billions of dollars. TNA, on the other hand, keeps everything a mystery, has 1.3 million fans (and never gain any more), and consistently fail to make any money. Their PPV buyrates suck and they can't even honestly claim to have broke even on anything, let alone turn a profit. Gee, what's WWE doing that TNA isn't? Hmmmmm...So hard to figure out.

Well, they've gone from 800 thousand regular viewers to 1.3 million regular viewers and managed to get a 2 hour deal. Maybe some people define "success" differently.
