I've always thought it was kind of silly to claim to hate someone that you don't even know. But here I am, admitting my hate for Mike Tenay. It seems more times than not he runs TNA moments for me. His voice, his facial expressions. If I ever saw him in person I'd be extremely tempted to punch him in the face.
Anymore haters out there?

He was much better when he was the "Professor" on WCW. Tenay as lead announcer is a bit too much.

He was much better when he was the "Professor" on WCW. Tenay as lead announcer is a bit too much. Yeah, that's honestly the exact problem. He's a good commentator, but he should NOT be the lead guy in a duo. He's much better suited to a three man announce team. |

I think West is makeing Tenay act stupid, hell Tenay was great in WCW (and the one who came up with the goldburg angle) |

Both are horrible commentators. One of the worst commentating teams in professional wrestling history.

I hate mike tenay, he's the worst part of the announce team.
Really his stuff in WCW was so much better because he was a background announcer.
If this was something like a team of Tony Schaivone and Mike Hudson I'd be much happier

Oh man, I was JUST about to make a thread about how much Mike Tenay pissed me off tonight. All that grandstanding and soapbox oration about Sting like this kind of schmozz finish hasn't happened in wrestling since the dawn of time! And it wasn't even anything to get riled up about anyway! Angle knocked Sting into Nash and gave him an Angle slam! Exactly how did he cheat? Oh, and while you're at it Tenay, keep repeating everything someone just said in a promo while they're still giving the promo. That won't piss anyone off. Not at all.

Tony Schiavone is awesome. yeah he is he was the voice of WCW and before he became Mr. Hyperbole, he as one of the best pbp guys. he also doesn't have a voice that grates on you, and who yells when delivering commentary. seriously TNA is missing a good announce team and a great production team |
