This is to take nothing away from what he did, and I do believe he deserves to be punished, but this is a kid who has lived in a dream world all of his life, now reality has come to slap him in the face, with a broken beer bottle. That being said, I wonder what the Hogan family's reaction would be if it was Nick who was brain dead now.
That just means you have a decent sense of compassion. I think people forget sometimes that Nick is a real person and not Hulk's fictional son or something.
