Most of the time I agree with Lance Storm, but now even I am like, "Okay, we get it, you think TNA sucks."

Just for note on the Ebert & Roeper comment. Ebert DID write for a movie...or three. Roeper, however, has not. Although, I just wanted to bring up the Ebert has been involved with movie making. Including the abominable "Valley of the Dolls", so in theory having worked for a crap film, Ebert knows what crap is.

I forgot the crucial modifier of the fact it was a sequel.

But it doesn't matter that he was a wrestler; his opinion is no more valid than that of someone watching wrestling for the first time. It doesn't matter who gets put over. It doesn't matter how well the next PPV is hyped. If TNA puts on consistently entertaining shows, they will succeed. alright. and next time you're sick, just go to that creepy guy on the corner... who cares if a doctor was trained to tell you whats wrong with you, his opinion is no more valid that anyone else's... right? I will take Lance's wrestling advice all day long, but as a fan he's probably less experienced than most of the people on this forum. Do you honestly think anyone looking for wrestling on tv is looking for the show with the best long term plan? I'm guessing they just want to see something entertaining.

PKS asks "Does Lance Storm not have anything better to do than talk about a promotion he's never worked for?"

PKS asks "Does Lance Storm not have anything better to do than talk about a promotion he's never worked for?" To my knowledge, he runs a wrestling school and is currently enjoying retirement. And most of the columns posted here are ones posted by the Fight Network or the LAW, so he's being paid to voice his opinions. He's not just b****ing online like the rest of us.

Lance Storm was just a midcarder in his career so he doesn't have the right to judge a wrestling promotion

Lance Storm was just a midcarder in his career so he doesn't have the right to judge a wrestling promotion And Glen Gilberti was a lower midcarder but apparently he has the right to write for a wrestling promotion and be overly critical of anyone overly critical of him. Your arguement has had more holes put through it than a sieve.

Lance Storm was just a midcarder in his career so he doesn't have the right to judge a wrestling promotion Actually, he was a main eventer in ECW. His final match was a main event against Justin Credible in a match for the ECW World Title. Not only that, but in WCW, while he was never a main eventer, he was certainly about as high as one could get in the midcard without finally breaking through the proverbial "glass ceiling." He once held every title but the World title for them. Add to that his main events that he headlined for various indy promotions like ROH and BSE in Canada (I think that's the name?), and you really can't say he wasn't a "main eventer." He wasn't a main eventer in WWE, which is true of about 99.9% of wrestlers worldwide. By that logic, no one not named Steve Austin, Dwayne Johnson, Hulk Hogan, etc. would have the right to judge a wrestling promotion. Not trying to be argumentative or belittling with you, but you really can't try to use that as an excuse to ignore Lance.

Lance Storm was just a midcarder in his career so he doesn't have the right to judge a wrestling promotion and i've never seen you in the main event of any promotion... i've also never seen you wrestling in any promotion. so you don't have the right to judge lance storm's credibility

I don't think Lance is ever gonna be happy with how TNA does things. He just has WAY to different an idea of what wrestling should be. I don't think TNA has ever gone down that line of thinking, and probably never will.

Yet, a full wrestling show doesn't exactly work, either. oh, i agree with you 100% there. problem i have with TNA is that they have maybe one great wrestling match every few shows... yet they have the talent on their roster that they would be able to put on at least one (or more) per show. i've stopped watching TNA because it's become such a crapshoot... will there be an awesome match this week or not? i'm sick of sitting through two hours of something i find very unentertaining in hopes of seeing an awesome match. TNA isn't the devil... however, they are FAR from reaching their potential... and thats why i get so upset with TNA, and i believe thats storm's problem as well... TNA should just go ahead and switch to being called "sports entertainment"... cause thats what they do. they are trying so hard to compete with WWE that they have become WWE. and theres nothing "alternative" about it anymore...
