If Joe went to WWE, I'd start regularly watching wrestling again.

To answer a question on page one of this thead (I believe page one) Joe would make more money working on the Independent Scene, depending on the amount of days that he worked. In the past before becoming a TNA regular, Joe was working anywhere between three and four days a week, drawing in very good cash.
Joe going to TNA helped him in a few ways. For one, he didn't have to work near as many days and it let him sort of rest his body a bit. He was really beating himself up working such a grueling schedule with his style, at his size.
I personally, and selfishly want to see Joe return to the Indys again. I'd like to see Joe going back to ROH, working for Pro Wrestling NOAH, and getting bookings all around the country once more. I just think he's being wasted by TNA, and it's a shame.
I'd almost have to think that Joe sort of feels the same way. The ROH Straight Shootin' DVD with Samoa Joe and CM Punk has Joe talking about how he wants to "enjoy" what he's doing and it's not the money that matter's at all. I honestly can't make myself believe that someone whose been apart of some great feuds in the past in other promotions would be happy with what he's doing in TNA.
I see Joe leaving, honestly.

I'd like to see Joe win the TNA World Title, drop it in the trash and walk the heck outta TNA. And lose all respect I have for him.

Regardless, I would like to see Joe in WWE. I laugh at everyone who expected Punk to be misused.

I see him re-signing with TNA. WWE schedule is too hectic and the pay wouldn't be that great, and going back to the indy's would be a step down.

I wouldn't consider indy's/ROH/Japan a step down, he'd make more money for sure. And WWE has showed interest in him before. And I could see him getting over in an insane way in WWE, thus more merch. sales and a pretty good paycheck. But as of right now, I'd say I'm about 65% sure he'll stay in TNA

Really? So theres an angle on TV about his contract, and then theres internet news about the contract. He's in the main event, set for a run to take the TNA title, and on TV every week and once a month on PPV. He can work light enough to not hurt himself, and since TNA is touring often, can get more pay days.
Yeah let me go back to hurting every part of my body, not on TV. Or let me go to OVW and try to lose weight, because I dont look like a WWE guy. You really think WWE has any interest in him other than let's say, signing someone away from competition. Umaga has his spot, plain and simple. What are they gonna sell him as, GOOD WORK RATE? HA!
And for the CM Punk guy. Theyve put him in a great spot, but he seems like a watered down KENTA. Like if KENTA got trained at OVW. In other words, borrringgggg. But thats a good thing. Extends his career. Same as Samoa Joe. Indys destroy wrestlers bodies for small payouts and small crowds. TNA may not get huge crowds, but it is on TV, the PPVs are traveling every month now, and they got TV every week.

Once again I think it all comes down to enjoying what you do, as some people have said, even Joe has said he doesn't want to worry about the money, he just wants to enjoy his work.

If Joe leaves, i'd be upset..but onestly, I don't see him making an immediate Impact in WWE, the guys there wouldn't be to eager to put him over, and they'd probably act chitty towards him because he came from the "other" company.

Joe would have to go to a full-tour schedule in the indies (or ROH) in order to make what he's pulling down in TNA. That's just the facts. Now, he could go to WWE and put in his time and make more there than any other place. But that's all on him, basically. It's up to him since it's his freaking life, not ours.

TNA can't afford to lose Joe. if they do, who will be the guest enforcer during Kurt Angle / Christian Cage title match at Against All Odds 2009?

I highly, highly doubt Joe's leaving. TNA's a pretty good deal for him, all in all.
As for earlier comments about Punk: based on what I've seen of him in ECW, I think he might actually work a harder style in WWE than he did on the indies, oddly enough.
Punk did NOT have a strike-centered offense in the indies, far from it.

Joe will stay in TNA. As much as I would love to see him in the 'E, he'd be a jobber.

I'm not sure he'll be able to court WWE as strong as he could a couple years ago. I thought Lagana was his main contact in WWE.
But it will be like in 2005. He'll hardball TNA into a good deal by talking with WWE and ROH, but will probably ultimately stay when TNA gives him a big payday.
