Samoa Joe's current TNA contract will expire in June of this year. Joe signed a 3 year deal with TNA in 2005. He was offered a renewel in 2007 but rejected the deal. There is talk that Joe will get the TNA World Title soon but we will have to wait and see on that.

I wondered what had become of that contract offer from last year. Hadn't heard anything about it in awhile.
I'll believe in him getting the World Title when he finally has it over his shoulder.

TNA has used Joe so poorly since Angle came in. I wouldn't be suprised to see Joe in a WWE ring later this year.

Given the past... I'd say Joe's gonna re-sign with TNA.
I mean for all we know, the angle going on could be just that, an angle, and not a "See Ya Joe" type of affair, like it was with Chris Harris. Even though of course, Joe is alot more popular than Harris is.

Would Joe make more money working a Bryan Danielson schedule or what he makes in TNA. Cause by gawd I'm sure he'd have cooler feuds outside of TNA. So yeah unless TNA pays more, I won't be suprised if he resigns. I mean, I don't see him going to WWE anytime soon.

I really don't think Joe would be as sought after by the WWE as many seem to think. Agreed. Obviously, WWE isn't gonna go after the most technical of wrestlers. Nor do they usually have more than a Samoan or two on the roster. Joe would just be taking up space in the fed. |

Chris Harris is pissed off about his spot on TV, turns out to be true. Now they're having a hard time getting Joe to sign a new contract.
