Gotta be THIS for me. Son of a bitch deserved a LOT worse than what he got for what he and his damn friends did to those dogs. Just read the SI article on the dogs and it broke my heart all over again.

Hmm, shouldn't the title be "Most hated man in U.S. Sports, but mostly in American Football"?

For Non-American fans Ashley Cole possibly? I was thinking about him too... Also, Beckham after WC1998. José Mourinho? What about Michael Schumacher and Alain Prost?

Tom Brady and Sean Avery.
Now that I think about it, they would be fine wrestling characters. One cocky sumbitch, and a blabbermouth asshole that everyone hates. Now those would be two good heels.

I think A-Rod is hated in general by people in Boston, Queens, and Texas. Fixed it for ya. Is it the money he makes, or is it the whole pinstripes thing? I think its the fact he actually is a giant bag of douche sauce. 1) Flauting around Toronto with someone thats not his wife 2) May 23rd, 2007. A-Rod Elbows Dustin Pedroia in the chest in an attempt to break up a double play. (after he threw the ball, retard) 3) Game 6 of the 2004 ALCS. A-rod slaps the ball out of Bronson Arroyo’s Mitt in an Attempt to reach first base. He even clapped his hands in celebration as millions of people watched him cheat like a 12 year old playing backyard baseball. Needless to say, he wasn’t awarded the base when the umpires convened. 4) Dating Madonna in 2008/2009, instead of 1989 when it would have been acceptable. Ugh... that lady is hideous. *Note: Not a Sox fan at all. (METS, bwahaha)

I am a huge NBA fan so ill run down the most hated players in alot of areas
Indiana - Rob Artest...This guy took Reggie's ring away from him
Portland - Darius Miles...The hate for this man in Portland specially with what is going on now is tremendous
New York - Isiah Thomas...He gets so much heat...honorable mention: Eddie "Cheeseburger" Curry
Phoenix - Robert Horry...Phoenix fans will never forget that bloody nose
Houstin - Tracy McGrady is getting alot of heat currently in Houston...with some fans actually begging him to retire
and the biggest love/hate relationship in the NBA?
Toronto - Vince Carter...they either love him like a god or think he is the devil over there...

I would assume 20 Billion Chinese hate him for stealing the show last summer, then all of the people who hate America ,then add the pockets of people who just don't like people with big ears and I am sure you'll find he is the most hated man in sports.

Hm, he may have been hated at some point (I don't even remember why), but he's pretty damn popular again. And at least, even among wrestling fans, he's never been as hated as Cena, who is at the same time one of the most hated wrestlers ever, one the wrestler hated for the most ludicrous reasons and the wrestler hated by the most oblivious type of people ever.

New York - Isiah Thomas...He gets so much heat...honorable mention: Eddie "Cheeseburger" Curry I don't think Scott Layden (the GM before Isiah) gets enough hate. It's not like the Knicks were in fine shape to begin with before Isiah became GM. Among other things, he signed Allan Houston to that ridiculously undeserving contract. And don't get me started on James Dolan. Nepotism can only get you so far.

You ask a baseball fan and 7 out of 10 people will tell you AJ Pierzynski of the Chicago White Sox. The man was #1 on a list titled "Baseball Players You'd Most Like To Punch In The Face".
AJ suspected his teammates piled on to put him at the top. Then he laughed. He's the prototype of a guy you'd most want as a teammate and least want to face as an opponent.

The guy beat up a 16 year old outisde McDonalds, his brother killed a guy with a hammer in a racist attack, he beat up his own team mate after attacking him from behind. Plus he's a horrible, arrogant chavvy pillock anyway.

Never really got all the Beckham hate, he played his heart out throughout the 98WC and what he did wasn't that bad. I think it was a case of Tom Brady i.e he was pretty flawless/great player and people were dying for him to slip up. Barton? Barton is obviously just a scumbag

Terrell Owens, because he can just find ways to get people to hate.
As for all time, I would say it's Ty Cobb.
