If you live in England it's Diego Maradonna.

Kyle Busch in NASCAR deserves to be on the list, though I believe its only part his age and talent are not exactly "molded" yet.

It's been a sausage fest so far in this thread. So here are a couple of female athletes to balance things up: Anna Kournikova: She was hot.. But she was no good at tennis. OK she will be better then you or me if we got on the court with her. But she was not good enough at a professional level. And the tennis purists hated her for it. She got a lot of a attention because of her looks. The only time she won anything was when she doubled with then World #1 Martina Hingis. NOTE: My Mum is well into tennis and she often talks about it so thats why I know that. But I pay her back by talking about football to her. Marion Jones - Admitted drug cheat. Sure she had to give back all her medals and records going back to 2000. But she did steal the moment of whoever came second to her in the races were she won in that period.

2) May 23rd, 2007. A-Rod Elbows Dustin Pedroia in the chest in an attempt to break up a double play. (after he threw the ball, retard) *Note: Not a Sox fan at all. (METS, bwahaha) He elbowed The Nugget? Then that's awesome. I award him a gold star. Wait, there are people proud to be Mets fans? Learn something new everyday.

Another guy I detest is Todd Bertuzzi.
In fact, he's the only professional athlete I'd root for a career ending injury for.

TO has to be on the list, although I'm an Eagles fan, so...
A lot of people hated Deion Sanders in the day for his flashiness and seemingly being more in love with the money than the game.

You know, on that note, a LOT of people have called Danica Patrick the new Kournikova. One thing I hear a LOT from my racing fan buddies is "You know, if Danica weren't so smokin hot, she'd not get the free pass that she does from a LOT of people. In fact, were she not a woman, she'd get no pass at all, driving like she does." I don't watch racing, so maybe they're just hating on her for nothing....I don't know.

I don't watch racing at all, but I can't stand Danica. She comes across as whiny and over-hyped.

Among the American people on this forum, its Tom Brady and there isn't a close second. During the lead-up to the Super Bowl, it was a handful of Patriots fans defending their team against every other fan in the NFL. Following the Super Bowl, people celebrated the Patriots' loss more than they would have celebrated their own team's championship, and they weren't even Giants fans. People weren't rooting for the Giants to win, they were rooting for the Patriots to lose, and I'm sure the fact that the Patriots' team flight even landed in Arizona and didn't blow up mid-flight caused most people on this board to cringe. And if you needed any more evidence, go back to September on these forums. Never before has a season-ending injury been so celebrated. Again, you would have thought that people had just witnessed their team win a playoff game, but instead they watched a guy tear his ACL and end his season. I understand why Tom Brady is hated. The guy is a winner and champion, he's a future Hall of Famer, possibly the greatest quarterback of our generation, he plays every game with a sense of arrogance, he dates beautiful women, he's filthy rich and he lives the good life. I get that people hate that. But he's never been arrested, he's never fought fans or teammates, he's never done drugs or used steroids, he's never called out other players or gone behind the backs of teammates, he doesn't play dirty and he seems to enjoy the sport he's playing. I also understand why people wouldn't like Tom Brady. And if he wasn't my team's QB I'd dismiss everything he did with "whatever, snorkin' pretty boy" and basic schadenfreude makes someone delight in the misery of someone who not only lives the good life, but is also habitually eliminating your team from the playoffs. But I don't recall him doing anything that could be considered arrogant. I mean sure the way he plays makes it look easy and his "aw shucks" can seem a bit condescending. Well that, and he did ride onto the field on a segue while brandishing a "Everybody Sucks But Me" banner after rushing in for a touchdown. Here's a couple of my hated people in sports: -What's his name from the Chiefs that injured Brady -The Manning Brothers. Peyton because he's Indy's Magic Johnson to New England's Larry Bird, that and he's constantly on my TV in some capacity or another (usually in commercials) and the only redeemable thing he has done IMO is the Peyton Manning-Role Model skit from SNL. Eli for last year's Super Bowl. - Ladanian Tomlinson just because he talks smack about NE all the time, I mean maybe the "if you're not cheating you're not trying" quote might be somewhat appropriate because you know...they got caught cheating. But the complaining about the celebration on the field after eliminating them from the divisional round of the playoffs two years ago seemed a bit much when you consider how annoying Merriman's "lights out dance" can be to non-Chargers fans. -Favre. Not hate as it's just pitiful how he brings out this retirement soap opera every year. That and he's just becoming a self-parody. I actually had a lot of respect for the guy. And this despite the fact that his one ring came at the expense of the Pats. - Terrell Owens. You wanna talk about soap operas? Favre-Packers management-Rodgers had nothing on Owens-Eagles Management. Nothing bugs me more when an athlete hits someone up for more money when they're already under contract. If you wanted more money you sh ould wait till you're free agent to do that. Outperformed your contract? Ok then if you underperform then pay some of that money back (isn't that the reason for MVP paying back his signing bonus due to his losing streak). The fact that he has thrown virtually every QB he has played with under the bus. Although the fact that he angers Skip Bayless so much is a redeemable quality. Which brings me to something that is a thing with me as far as the "villains" of sports is that when my team is eliminated from playoff contention I usually root for the biggest heel since that tends grinds the gears of the sports talk crowd (both personalities and audience). The fact that the team that won the AFC title last year was the biggest heel and my facorite team made things all the sweeter. And for all you Patriots haters My main issue with Favre (and this doesn't necessarily mean that it's entirely his fault) is that he's seemingly one of those athletes, for whom the media (a la ESPN, John Madden, etc.) has to give a proverbial BJ to.
