Yep....especially the Ouija monster one. There really hasn't been a good kaiju film from the US in a while....well, outside of CLOVERFIELD, I mean. But hey, when somethin's strange....with your Oujia board....who ya gonna call? ;D I smell TIE IN!!!!! I would seriously pay big bucks to see that movie. ;D

Wasn't there an old series of movies basically based on Quija boards? Called like Witchboard or something like that? I remember having them at my store.

"22 on the NOSE?!?!"
That was awesome. Probably LOTS more awesome than the PD Ouija movie is going to be.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D out on DVD and Blu-ray on May 26 But it's going to come with those cheap 3D shades, right?

Probably so R-Man. Most DVD's and all don't come with the more expensive stuff. Mainly because the different shades are actually for different styles of 3-D. I think for DVD's it's either not possible or to expensive to do any other thing but the red/blue version.

^ That would explain why my RealD shades didn't work for the MONSTERS VS ALIENS Superbowl trailer.
Huh. Didn't know there was a difference.

Yeah I tried the samething R-Man. I put on my RealD shades from My Bloody Valentine for the Monster vs Alien and SOBE commercials. Didn't do anything.
Yeah, R-Man, there is an article out there, explaining the different 3-D formats. I don't know where it is though. If I find it, I'll link you.

The RealD ones are still super stylin' though. ;D One day in the future, when they make a TV with those capabilities, I'll dig through my junk drawer and find those bad boys, and I'll be ahead of the game again!

I actually have quite the little collection of red-blue 3D glasses by this point - two pairs from Freddy's Dead, two more from Friday the 13th Part 3, two from this promotion back in the day when ABC ran a bunch of its shows in 3D back in, say, 1998 or so...
Also just watched a bunch of the extras on His Name was Jason today. For anyone who has it, one of the extras on the "Dragged from the Lake" section of Disc 2 - titled "Proud Freak" - is pretty much an anthem for all of us on this here thread. ;D
Rob Hedden, the director of Jason Takes Manhattan, seems like a really cool dude, between the Flying V and just how animated and fun he is throughout his entire interview.

A Rumor That I have heard is while looking though the Vault at Paramount they have found The shot of dead Mrs. Jarvis. Joe Zito explained that since he felt that Tommy's mother did not deserve to get killed because she was such a nice and loving person, it was in bad taste to actually show her dead. So he cut that scene at the last moment

I guarantee you that the Ouija board will summon a demon ghost child. With long, black hair. And the backstory of the board is that...oh, it's a cursed gypsy board that was used in a Nazi concentration camp, and that it captured the evil soul of a demon girl and...the girl wants to be reborn as evil, and that the people that release the ghost have to finish what was started at Auschwitz...oh, also, they'll be tits, but only for the Unrated Director's Cut.

Man, never dreamed we'd get so much mileage out of the Ouija board movie. I'm fascinated by this idea; this movie has the possibility to be the Plan 9 for this generation. ;D On a more serious note, since we have just a little over 1 page to go for the rest of this thread, I think it's fairly safe to assume that we'll actually accomplish my 3-month long dream of expanding this thing to the point of being locked. So congrats, all WC horror fans - this thread started out with a small base of four or five posters, and now has expanded to include a good 10 or 11. It is, as Rorschach put it somewhere WAY back in this thread, our own little WC horror round table discussion. Something different is in the works for the first post of Part 2 of this thread - the WC horror Hall of Fame (as cheesy as that is ;D). All throughout this thread, I've been keeping tabs on just who the WC horror community, by clear majority, considers to be comprised almost solely of pure awesomeness. The first three inductees into this very prestigious (so prestigious that only us 10 or 11 posters in this thread even know they exist ;D) circle of horror mastery will be honored in the first post of said thread. Two of them won't surprise anyone, but the third just may - although I think that my write-up may just change your mind after you read the name.
