Director of "The Wrestler," Darren Aronofsky, said in a recent interview that Vince McMahon called him, requesting a private screening of the movie. Oh....damn..... I mean Mick Foley and Roddy Piper giving it thumbs up were good enough, but if Vince likes it, I HAVE to see it, as he is very hard to please.

Damn you Mick Foley. I read his column on the film, and his "small spoiler" gave away the whole freaking ending. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

If he knew of the film series, Pirate Paul could've had a good push. Though I'm guessing he knows about The Wrestler cause maybe Roddy told him about it.

Anybody actually have it playing in your area? I live in a pretty big city (Baton Rouge) and am surprised it's not playing somewhere. Disappointed. I was really looking forward to seeing it.

That makes no difference, I'm willing to bet if he hadn't produced it, not even he'd have known about "The Condemned" (Which is a pretty good one actually, but, just sayin'...)

Even if he didn't produce it, he'd want to know if there's a way to exploit it. He's done the same in the past (Edge in one of the Highlander films, for example).

Let's not forget the weeks on end hype put behind Triple H in Blade Trinity.

Vince McMahon is so out of touch he doesn't even know about the theory of relativity.
