What's the rule regarding discussing VPN's, Unblock-Us, etc? I saw a mod mention it wasn't cool, but then a thread popped up where VPN is mentioned in the first thread and nothing has been said about it in there. It's not directly covered in the rules, atleast as far as I saw, and with WWE Network launching in the US only it's bound to come up a lot in the near future.
Just want clarification so I don't step on toes

Just want clarification so I don't step on toes it would technically fall under (for our rules: 7. RIGHTS PROTECTED MEDIA: This one is a biggie. Do not provide links to or provide directly downloadable copyrighted footage or other rights protected media. Do not make threads or posts requesting or detailing where to obtain downloadable rights protected media of any type. I was wondering if I could get clarification on this rule:
I know that wishing harm/bashing people should not be used. That's not the question- but my question is, wouldn't something that's incredibly over the top, to the point there is no likely way the person saying it could really ever actually do what they're saying (like the second example), be a lot different than wishing harm that's grounded in reality (like the first example)? Just using the examples there: If someone was serious/insane enough, they could theoretically find someone and punch them in the face, but even if they were serious or insane enough, it's unlikely they'd be able to tear their legs off and force them down a mountain ass first.
So, what is the reasoning for the difference?

So, what is the reasoning for the difference? Basically we got sick of having to warn over really ridiculous posts due to the wording of the rule before. This way it lightens it up and adds in for the human element on when someone is obviously not being serious and it's a totally non issue with what they said. If YOU think it's questionable, then don't post it. If you think one of our staff might find it questionable, then don't post it. That's about the best I can say for that.

Yeah what Kash said, it's not official or new really, just the one I've always liked to match with the particular skin you're using due to the color scheme. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}cleaned up the spoiler tag This MIGHTT look funky on Mobile, need feedback if anyone sees anything odd (particularly coding showing, I'm manipulating the filters to allow the button to work when using quick replay, so there may or may not end up being a side effect). EDIT: I see it's funky when you use the search function from the front forum page and come across a spoiler but oh well. A bullet I'm willing to bite for now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quick note to everyone using any alt skins: I'm messing with them over the next couple weeks so bear with me. Expect for changes out of nowhere of me switching back and forth between a number of things. Default skin will remain intact and untouched. Just trying to catch some stuff up to V5. EDIT: Done with Pirate skin, I'll do White Knights in a bit (maybe, there's only 40 of you who use this one so it's low on the totem poll of work right now). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FavIcon is up again. These are the bookmark icons btw if anyone is unfamiliar with the term. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Need a favor people. Does anyone have a screen shot of the forum on the classic brown skin from before the switchover to v5?

I'm over in (w)Rest of Wrestling right now, and that Talk is Jericho thread. There's nothing wrong with it, but I just had a thought. We've got Art of Wrestling, two Steve Austin Shows, Talk is Jericho, and now The Ross Report as well. One of you guys might want to start a stickied Podcast Thread over there, since it looks like wrestling podcasts are really becoming a thing. If the threads start to take up too much room in Wrest then it might be a good idea. Need a favor people. Does anyone have a screen shot of the forum on the classic brown skin from before the switchover to v5? I don't have a shot of a whole page, but this would have some of the colors you might be looking for. Thanks for that but I realized I was an idiot and just used the internet archive. Ok so where we're at... The difference between our classic Crap FAN skin compared to the new default new one is night and day, I'm going to make a classic themed skin as soon as I can figure out the variants between the systems. This is sleek and clean. This is a bit clumpy and messy. So yeah, classic skin coming soonish.

What's the consensus on gfycat.com embeds? I believe they technically count as videos despite looking like gifs and I know there's a pretty strict rule on embedding content not found on the WWE YT page.

You can use gfycat gifs, but embedded videos (even muted/without sound) will still have the 'official source' rules applied to them. Also, please use spoiler tags if you're going to post enormous gifs, it's just courteous to those on limited bandwidth.

I recently downloaded tapatalk on my iPhone. Is there any way to get this forum through tapatalk? I've tried searching FAN Forums & Freakin Awesome Network with no luck.

Since I ruined a guys Walking dead experience for my negligence and I can't seem to find it in the rules thread, how are spoiler tags done? Is it the same as image tags but replace img with spoiler?

-EDIT- GAH, "CODE" isn't working quite right. you won't need the "{Spoiler}" for some reason that keeps getting added to my post.
[spoiler]{Spoiler}spoil here[/spoiler]

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}… Great Scott! It worked. Much appreciated. Or if you go to the reply screen, the last button is for the spoiler stuff, it looks like this:

[spoiler]{Spoiler}{Spoiler}spoil here[/spoiler] Eh to make the button available instead of just text I reworked the table for it and for some damned reason I couldn't get it to translate when using quick reply, so I had to manipulate the filters to make it so using it from quick reply produces the same version of the code from normally hitting the UBBC button Ric mentioned. There was probably a much more common sense method of achieving this but it worked and no one's noticed it til now that it was done in a wonky way.
