Add me to the handful of people so far who quite enjoyed the Limp Bizkit "Behind Blues Eyes" - for that matter, first I've heard their "Home Sweet Home" and it isn't bad at all either. I'm not a big LB fan, but I think they more than did well on both.
I'm a cover song junkie; before my computer crashed last year, I had something like 8-900 cover songs alone in my harddrive. Good, bad, mediocre, love them all.

Oh dear God what have I done? What i've done, what the hell did these artists do? If I ever sell a million records and some dumbass pop star or emo band does this to one of my songs, I'm suing them for defecation of character or something like that. I should sue Avril and Flyleaf right now for severe emotional distress.

Every cover Ive heard of Bjork's Army of Me has been terrible. You just cant take that song and do a hard rock or metal version of it and have it come out good.

I wonder what would hurt more: Me sticking needles into the hole in my penis, or listening to the whole song? I think conceivably you could take one of those umbrellas out of those tropical, fruity drinks they serve at those trendy bars, stick it in there as far as it can go, and open it repeatedly and it still wouldn't be as painful as that song. When I heard the first strains of it, I had that incredulous look on my face like Stone Cold Steve Austin had the day that Dude Love came down to be his partner. I watched that match the other day, and damn I miss old WWE programming.

Not just a cover, but a whole album of god-awful covers Ah Yes... I only wish I could find his cover of Stairway.

I have never heard a nihilistic version of Imagine... Imagine always struck me as being nihilistic. I've never heard this cover till now, and I have to say I enjoy it, because it brings out the song's implicit darkness, something John Lennon never recognized. But I totally understand why someone would hate it that much.

I think you got "horrible" confused with "f***ing amazing".

I think you got "horrible" confused with "snorking amazing". I quite dig it. It's faithful without being karaoke. Carrey adds just enough of his own touch to it but retains the bizarreness of the original. Nice job by a non-singer. That said, not sure I'd want to hear him try anything else.

Not sure how I forgot, but James Taylor's cover of "Everyday" by Buddy Holly Ohhh this one is so bad. So so bad. I can't even make a joke, it's just...too bad. Also Metallica doing any Misfits songs. I know a lot of people like them, but to me the whole appeal of the Misfits is that the subject matter is dark but the singing is pretty which is an interesting contrast, so James Hetfield's vocals totally ruins it. Also, the Metallica versions don't have that rockabilly beat. Basically, everything I like about the originals is not there. They end up just sounding like generic thrash.

I have an album by Paul Anka called 'Rock Swings' were he sings some classic rock and grunge from the last 30 years or so. They are awful. Awful in a good way:
Eye of the Tiger
True
Smells Like Teen Spirit
It's My Life (Bon Jovi song)

Judge for yourself: May contain some language. Actually, I've always considered this the best SLTS cover I've heard, and I've heard a lot.

Just about every Beatles song that has been covered for commercials over the past year.
Also, i was watching American Idol a few weeks ago and this emo guy completley pissed all over Johnny Cash-Ring Of Fire. I really wanted to fly to Hollywood to confront him.
