We all know those certain covers that unfortunately, we know exist and still hate. They're miserable and are blatant disrespect to the original artists and their songs. Two that immediately come to mind are Kid Rock's Sweet Home Alabama atrocity and Britney Spears' I Love Rock And Roll. (Feel free to include well-known cover attempts, as well. I was mainly aiming for obscure shit covers but all shit covers are welcome here.)
But there are some covers out there so God awful, so insane...that we don't even know they exist. And here is a perfect start to this topic...

I can handle Tarja in small doses but this is terrible.
Not as bad...but she still f***s up a great song.

This has to be the worst Bob Dylan cover I mean they totally f***ed up one of Dylan's best songs and made it into a shitty pop-punk song, somehow. I hate My Chemical Romance!

The Beach Boys cover themselves...disco style!
Edit: I have no idea why the guy put the M.I.U. cover for his video. This is from the "Light Album"

I had an mp3 of a band called EyeQ covering "Last Caress" by the Misfits. It made me want to track down the band and flog them with a length of garden hose.

Madonna's attempt at American Pie was painful. All saints version of under the bridge was embarrassing.

I thought Everlast's "Folsom Prison Blues" was the worst cover ever, then I saw the video. Now I KNOW this is the worst cover ever.

I like the MCR cover too.
Worst has to be Atreyu's cover of "Epic". GUHHHHHHHHHHH. Simple Plan's "American Jesus" is awful too.

Can the Kid Rock song really be called a cover? It's more of an extreme example of sampling. The actual lyrics are original. Same with "American Badass" using Metallica's "Sad But True".

But the real winner is.... I feel like going to America and do Horrible Horrible things to her(Not in the good way. As to the Topic. As much as i like Flyleaf, their cover of Smells like Teen Spirit from nirvana was pretty awful. She sounds like a goat at some points.
