There is one thing I am really sick of and that is this constant yapping about this cardboard cutouts face turn and people talking about it like it's going to save the company. HAs anyone paid attention to this guy? There is zero charisma there. The only time he showed any charisma whatsoever was when he was playing off his dad, who btw still oozes charisma to this day. They guy is bland as burnt toast or vanilla pudding and for the love of god stop touting a face turn that 1) Is not going to happen, 2) not going to suddenly get people buzzing about WWE, and 3) if it does happen will make him duller than he is now. If that is even possible.

Cody Rhodes is the money melon. I agree that he is the more polished of the two by a longshot, but I think Teddy has the goods. I just think he is better off not talking much.

I've not seen Ted display one iota of charisma, to be honest.
He also doesn't impress me too much with his in-ring work. Everything about the guy is bland and grey.
If one of Legacy is to turn face and get pushed, it surely has to be Cody. He's actually capable of getting a reaction from a crowd.

I saw Ted put on a great match with Batista on SmackDown, and not many people have great matches with Batista. I like Ted's workrate, but I think he needs a defined character.

Cody's the more probable of the two, particularly since he can do comedy, which is important for a face. I think they could work pretty well as a tag team, especially since Cody could easily sell enough to be the Ricky Morton, while it'd help Ted work his best while hiding some of his limits.

He's had a number of enjoyable matches in WWE so far, and his Japan work was pretty damn good too. He just needs a niche to latch onto and he'll be set.

Yeah he doesn't ooze charisma, but I think he will be a star, more so as a heel. I mean he's really turning into Orton and I think that's a good thing. If you watch him in the HIAC match his movements and facials towards Shawn and especially Triple H when Trips was locked out of the Cell were just great, he looked vicious.
Now turning him face won't kill him, but it might hurt him because he'd face Orton, and we all know Orton can get a big face pop, so WWE has to be care of how the turn Ted, if they turn Ted.

The reason people think he's going to turn face and get a big push is because he's starring in The Marine 2. It'll be hard to sell the DVD with a heel promoting it.

I have a feeling they'll do the typical face turn thing ala Orton and Morrsion, i.e. his heel buddies kick the crap outta him.
Never figured out why that's then supposed to make us root for someone.

I saw Ted put on a great match with Batista on SmackDown, and not many people have great matches with Batista. I like Ted's workrate, but I think he needs a defined character. *LONG RANT AHEAD* See, there's the thing. He CAN put on a decent match fundamentally, and CAN hang with main eventers, but even still, there's nothing exciting about his in ring work. Combine that with his SERIOUS lack of charisma and ability to connect with crowds, and you have a guy who will crash and burn spectacularly when put in a big-match situation (see: Kozlov, Vladimir; although to be fair, it was because of both Kozlov not being a very good wrestler and Triple H seemingly sucking hard that night.) While it's good he is getting a push (on RAW, no less), I don't see him getting much of a character anytime soon, other than "main eventer" (just like Cena, really). In my mind, there are plenty of other guys who deserve Ted's push much more than he does, such as Kofi, Miz, Swagger, MVP, Mark Henry, and so on. And considering they did rush Randy Orton's push to the top (where he won the title in 2004...talk about too much, too soon), I can honestly see them try and put the belt on Ted Jr. sometime in late 2010. The way I see it, they're pushing him thinking he's the next Rock, who started off (surprise!) JUST like Ted, a third-generation blue chipper with little character that started to get a lot of legit hatred from crowds (that hasn't happened with Ted yet, and Rocky was a face, unlike Ted). Just as the WWF was about to give up on him, all of a sudden, he exploded with hidden charisma. In a way, it was like the WWF went digging for gold on the beach, failed, got laughed at by the passersby, and threw down their shovel in disgust...only to discover, at the last minute, that they had accidentally came across a vein of platinum instead. Not only was it a surprise, it was downright miraculous. Now, with Ted, the WWE is going "okay, where's that vein of platinum we found 12 years ago, it's still gotta be here!" If they happen to find it again, I'll eat a hat. No, I don't see him getting the same level of legit heat that Cena ever got (because Ted, at the end of the day, is a bit more fundamentally sound, and is good at selling), instead, he'll just get apathy from crowds (that is, unless he did what Rocky Maivia did 12 years ago and find an assload of charisma stashed somewhere), which, some could argue, is even WORSE.

I have a feeling they'll do the typical face turn thing ala Orton and Morrsion, i.e. his heel buddies kick the crap outta him. Never figured out why that's then supposed to make us root for someone. See: Orton post Evolution. Of course they never learn from that. WWE: Hey guys, I know this guy has been a dick for ages now, but it finally came back and bit him in the ass! You should like him now! When stuff like that happens to people in real life, I just say GOOD. I am not saying that type of storyline cannot work, as long as you build to it. You could have Ted begin having doubts, not doing what Orton tells him, etc. Finally he just says that he has done a lot of things for Orton, things he isn't proud of and he wishes he could take back. Orton acts like he agrees for a week or two, maybe even acts more facelike in general but then beats the stuffing out of him. THAT would be effective. It wont go that way though, they will just do a random beatdown and not give the crowd any reasons they should like or respect Ted now beyond that. As far as Ted the wrestler goes, I would much rather see Cody get the push. He is far more interesting. I wish they had done more with him after the Dusty Rhodes RAW which closed out with CODY CHANTS!!!!...yet of course WWE, as usual, did nothing with it since it did not fit in their plans.

I think most of us are agreed that Ted Jr. will not be the salvation of WWE. He will be very annoying during his attempted Uberpush, though. I'm already cringing in anticipation.
