I'm not trying to push anyone's buttons, but not only on here, but on almost all the other wrestling boards I visit there is a handful of Mickie fanboys and fangirls, and I guess I just never bought into the hype. At least to me she's lost a step, and was only really attractive when she first came in as the psycho stalker, the sexy train conductor outfit just doesn't do it for me. I guess I can't really tell what sets her apart from any other diva on the roster in terms of both talent and looks. I know we all have different tastes and eyes for talent, and I'm not trying to troll or anything, I'm just genuinely curious as to what the appeal is that sets her apart from everyone else?

She's shorter, so somehow this better qualifies those in the IWC for a chance of getting with her.

She's hot, but not like overly-fake like a lot of the divas (not all of them).

She had a good storyline going on when she first debuted in WWE with Trish, which is very rare for WWE's women's feud. Their match at Wrestlemania actually interested me.
But in all honesty, Mickie hasn't done anything much since then. She's like the "Edge" of the women's division, where they put the title on her because she's over and they don't know what else to do with the belt.

She's in the WWE, made out with Trish Stratus, grabbed Trish's whoo-whoo and gets to roll around in the ring with a bunch of scantily clad chicks.
She's living the life most of us could only dream about.

It was part her wrestling ability, and part that she looks so different body wise to the rest of the Divas. I first noticed her in Ring of Honor when she was much smaller, and then saw her with Raven in TNA, and was very impressed, especially with that hardcore match she had with Jeff Jarrett. Not really seeing a lot of OVW, I sort of lost track in how she was doing, so when she debuted in WWE, I was pleasantly surprised to see her again.
Obviously the Trish angle helped a lot with my love for her, but it was her work ethic and the matches she put on that really justified my love. The classic at WrestleMania 22 put her over the top, I was her fan for life. Up until recently, she was the happiest and bounciest worker on the roster, and she has lots of time for her fans. And the fact that I personally saw her win the Women's Title in London helped a lot too.
Of course she's not the best worker in the world, but on her day, she's one of the more competent, and more importantly, she's my favourite. And it helps that she has the looks and body I love in a girl.

Well, I do happen to think she's very talented and good looking, but she has a weird charisma going on as well and I think that's where the Cult of Mickie comes from (that's not a dig at the Mickie fans).

That ASS, boy, THAT ASS
Oh, and she's a good wrestler, too.
BUT THAT ASS!
And a debuting feud with psychotic and lesbian overtones would never hurt ANY female in a male dominated demographic.

I think people like her because just not a stick. Like most all the over DVDs are. As in having a healthy looking body. All the crap about the WWE thinks she's fat when I know It BS stuff because they still push her. But I like how she looks. Compare to McCools who looks unheathly because she so thin. She looks like she can break easily beause her arms and legs are so small and thin.

"I guess I just never bought into the hype."
Well, I just like her. No "hype" to buy into... I just, actually, like her. I came up with that all on my own.

I don't get her at all either. Her intro feud was AWESOME, and then she just became another diva; one of the more disappointing cases of gimmick abandonment in recent memory.

i think a lot of the fanboys on here still remember the "Mickie James is the type of girl..." thread, and they hold onto that thread to remember how awesome she USED to be.

While she is good looking, I think a lot of guys feel obligated to say they like her otherwise it sounds like they're saying all women should be twigs. And Micke gets a pass on lot of things for that. McCool might be a twig, but she is actually a far better wrestler than Mickie is at this point. Mickie has slipped a lot in wrestling ability and is incredibly sloppy (and she was sloppy before she was wrestling Rosa and Alicia, so bad competition isn't an excuse.)
The fact is, she has gained weight recently and she is out of shape (at least compared to what she used to look like). But people seem reluctant to say that because they see it as calling her fat. It's not. And a lot of the "But Mickie's not fat! How dare they!" feels incredibly forced. WWE never called her obese, they just want her to get in shape. And considering her role as a diva is based partly on how she looks- and she's paid handsomely for this- she should at least do what WWE wants on this matter.
Giving Mickie a pass because of her curves is almost as bad as letting Rosa off the hook for being an appalling wrestler because she's hot.

She seems more attainable than most of the divas.

People online think they can get with her since she's sort of fat and short.... Yet somehow a diva.

At an earlier time, she put a lot of effort into her matches and had an over character (the psycho stalker). Can't say how good her matches are, since its been ages since I actually watched RAW, but her character for most of this year has been boring as hell.
