The whole "she's not amazingly hot so I have a chance with her" is kind of ridiculous. Look at Trish's husband. Heck, look at Shannon Elizabeth's ex husband.

I liked the original stalker angle, I think she's a capable worker (though sadly does seem to have lost some zip in recent mothes), I think she's cute, she has a lot of energy and I have a feeling she's a wild woman in the sack.
Really, there's not much there that isn't ticking a box for me.
I hope she can find her mojo again soon.

Mickie's had her fair share of cosmetic surgery, and may or may not have a history of HGH use (like a few of the divas) She has also, I suspect, benefited from the airbrush in a few of her WWE photoshoots. She's just as artificial as all the other women. |

Her in-ring appeal is that she's CAPABLE of being a tremendous wrestler. Look at her matches from 2007. The thing is that she's in a slump right now, but she could very easily exit out of that.
As for her appearance, the appeal is that she's hot. What more is there to say? Physical attraction is utterly subjective.

She's sloppy, stiff and can't cope well if anything goes wrong (compare Mickie's reaction in the Gail Kim match, to Taylor Wilde's quick thinking in the triple threat where Angelina Love got knocked out, or Melina calmly instructing Jillian to do the move again after it was botched on Raw. Mickie freaks out, can't hide her disgust and throws a sloppy foream that may have damaged Kim even more ) |

What's the point of threads like these anyway? It's like the "Sell me on ____ " threads, You can't. You can't convince someone to like someone else. I don't get the appeal of Ziggler,Ryder or Legacy, but others do. What I do get is, that the only way I might understand the appeal of them is if I sit down and watch them work.
if I didn't like them in the first place, my opinion of them isn't going to change just because X said Y about them on here. You don't get the appeal of Mickie James? Watch her stuff, still not digging it? move on.
"I don't get the appeal of ____" might as well be; "I don't like ____ and you shouldn't either"
It's just going to turn into "X is a crappy wrestler, Y is a great wrestler", "No X is a great wrestler"
then it just turns into straight up trolling and flaming.

Hmm ell 1, shes not blonde(or black haired, the only 2 natural colours divas hae in hair ), neer noticed her shoirtness, she looks like a normal person
shes a decent worker, she had an awesome feud,I dunno why but she shoulda had a team with Victoria, cos both of em came in as Trish stalkers who were crazyas hell

yeah she's a bit sloppy lately.. but most people do at some point, you can tell its her being sloppy, its not her being untalented

Nobody. I don't think anyone would consider her fat or obsese. It's absurd. There's no "get Mickie off tv because she's fat" movement. WWE think she's out of shape. And I think there's some truth to that. (looking at how she has gained weight and her in ring wrestling has gotten incredibly sloppy and she's moving slower.) But its not the same as calling her fat. |

There's a reason why I emphasized that word in total capitalization. She definitely isn't on top of her game right now, but she's got a long career and a lot of experience, and until--I would say, mid-late 2008--she was really doing a great job in the ring. I don't think Mickie is nearly as good as she was before, but I also don't think it's possible to suddenly lose that ability. I think she's suffering from fatigue, a lack of focus, and a lack of overall fitness. But those can all be fixed with the proper methods. But if she gets on top of her game again? I think she can once again be as good as the other good wrestlers that they've got (Beth, Katie Lea, Melina, Nattie, etc.). |

well, as for lack of focus.. thast the women in WWE on a whole, they are just tossed out there and expected to wrestle, the fans largly don't care, theres rarely a decent storyline (funnily enough Mickies first fued was the best Womens fued for years )
if she was in TNA..you'd see the old mickie back, a lil time taken with the women and a crowd hot for the action (and not just their looks ) goes a long way to peoples confidence

I think she's living off the opening feud with Trish and the licking of her fingers following the cooter grab at Mania. She hasn't done squat since then and, her work has gone downhill faster than anyone else in WWE.
When WWE has women like Eve, Alisha and Maryse who are improving, while Mickie has lost a lot, it surprises me to see people freak out that she is being depushed.
