I don't get her at all either. Her intro feud was AWESOME, and then she just became another diva; one of the more disappointing cases of gimmick abandonment in recent memory. I'd say that's valid, she's been running off the memories of that for quite some time. I like her, but she's been fairly generic for a couple years now. |

Maryse (prior to injury) and Eve have improved a lot and are connecting with fans which a lot of Divas seem to fail to do (not saying Mickie does) I'm not arguing most of what you're saying, but I don't really think that either of them connect(ed) with the fans. Maryse always got a silent response from the crowd for nearly everything she does, and the responses that Eve gets always happen when she's standing next to these guys:  Otherwise I pretty much agree with you. She's an average looking girl who once had a great body. Her very average face gave her more of a sense of attainability that attracted a lot of wrestling geeks to her. I mean, she was dating Kenny Dysktra, a kid who's not exactly a heartthrob.

I didn't read the thread yet, but I will say this.
Mickie isn't just over on the internet. She's the most over chick on the roster (and to be honest, the chicks aren't as over as they used to be, like with Trish and Lita, who were over like crazy.
Mickie is cute, she has a spunkiness about her. While she's been bad recently, she's one of the better wrestlers.
She doesn't have a cookie cutter diva look that others have. Different is always better. She actually worked hard, earned the respect from the fans, instead of just being given it (though others like Beth, Melina and others have earned it as well).

Even Mccool gets reactions, they're freaking tiny, but they're there. Mickie gets a good reaction, especially for a Diva. Melina got a nice one too last raw if memory serves. |
