A total "HOLY S***" moment: Amazing that a move that Shawn Michaels has used as a rest hold once or twice and never seen before or since has made it in. Gives me hope to see Kofi's Ranhei and Jeff's springboard corkscrew moonsault in. Triple H and HBK have used it once or twice to win matches, I believe. I know Triple H had it on Orton when Regal shut the lights off on one of the Raw's, supposedly masking Orton tapping out.

For every news bit I hear of there being a huge step forward I straight away get some more news that is a huge step back.
Seriously, PS2 version with no CAW limit? What is this crap?!
Edit:
[Notices no weight setting thing] [Looks down at the drawing he just did of a pair of planned CAW's out of boredom] [Tall skinny guy. Short fat guy] [Fat guy = Cruiserweight. Thin guy = Superheavyweight]
Oh, just f*** you THQ

The fact that we cannot edit downloaded CAWs in any way sucks so much. We can't even edit their movesets or entrances. So it's basically pointless to download a Zack Ryder CAW since you can't give him "Oh Radio" as an entrance theme. I guess I'm still going to have to stick with formulas and game saves.

I've got a bad feeling we'll be seeing one more development that will bring our urine to a boil before the game really is released.
I wouldn't be too surprised if we learn that either...
-Steve Austin won't be usable in Create-A-Story, just exhibition (out of laziness "kindness" to those who didn't order from Gamestop) -Superstar palate swap Threads outfits won't be usable in Road to WrestleMania stories and/or Create-A-Story, just exhibition. -Highlight reels will only work with WWE wrestlers only (and with their default outfits) -we find out much later after release that there is a glitch that wipes out all of our saves (like No Mercy), but it also corrupts our save devices (Hard Drives, Cards, whatever)... and it's never fixed. -or perhaps, all of the above.

Why does stuff like this happen every year? They will put in a lot of good stuff but implement it in baffling or just outright BAD ways. I mean, what the hell is the point of downloading CAWs if you can never edit anything about them? Its like the programmers are completely braindead. Also, the fact that every year moves get taken out for no reason. Why remove perfectly good moves? It definitely isn't a space issue.

Create-A-Story is hard to say though. Highlight Reel really should work with anyone. All it's doing is saving what's happening on the screen so they have no excuse. Besides you can make CAW entrance movies with it, so making it WWE guys only would be beyond stupid. Mind you, beyond stupid is what 90% of the stupid decisions have been.

The amount of new double team moves is staggering. I saw the Demolition Decapitation, Crack in the Mouth, Rocket Launcher, and numerous others. They really stepped it up in regards to moves this year.

I agree. I watched most of the moves on YouTube earlier this morning, and I was amazed by both the new additions and by all the re-animation of older moves. They actually redid all of the aerial moves, which is awesome. The new Five Star (ECW) Frog Splash is freaking epic.

In this day and age, when the freaking PS2 version is looking like superior version, you know you've done something wrong.

I'm scared. Will this be worse than 08? If you mostly care about CAS, then maybe. However if you're like me and just want a fun WWE game with a good roster and pretty damn good gameplay and animation, then 2010 is head and shoulders above 2008.

So now that you can create your own entrance videos, is anybody hoping that the display screen beneath the Titantron can also be edited? Or is that just wishful thinking?

I thought the CAS looked cool, but after hearing all the bad things about it, I will pass on it, but atleast it has the great gameplay.

In this day and age, when the freaking PS2 version is looking like superior version, you know you've done something wrong. EA's been doing it for 3-4 years with Madden.
