I'm scared. Will this be worse than 08? If you mostly care about CAS, then maybe. I strongly disagree with this. The fact that you can earn and use experience points like you please convinces me that this is the game with the best CAS system since SvR 2006, even if that means sacrificing online sharing.

Maybe this is ass backwards, in fact, I know it is...but this game has me somewhat excited about wrestling for the first time ever. Hooked the PS2 up and gave Fire Pro Returns a spin. First match was Masato Tanaka (me) vs Bam Bam Bigelow. I got my ass beat. Followed this up with a "dream partner" match that pitted Tanaka and Stan Hansen against Bam Bam and Vader. I got beat again, Hansen should've saved me but he didnt.....so I pretend like he fought with Tanaka after the bell... The feud ended with an 8 man Survivor Series match that saw Tanaka, Cactus Jack and the Road Warriors defeat Bam Bam, Vader, Hansen and Mike Awesome at the 52 minute mark when Tanaka put Awesome away with the Diamond Dust. Who needs story creator?!

Quick update on alternate attires:
- The Brian Kendrick's street clothes are jeans and a "WWE Universe" T-shirt. THE jacket is nowhere to be found. - HBK's 3rd alt. attire is his entrance attire sans hat. - Edge's alt. attire are jeans and a "Rise Above" T-shirt. - Jericho's suit is far less SRS than we expected. Blue jeans, opened white dress shirt, silver necklace, cowboy boots, and a black suit jacket.

Boo-urns to no TBK jacket.
However, I'm happy with a lot of the new finishing moves that are in.

I noticed the Crucifix Bomb looks more like the Border Toss now. Is that new?

Silly Question Probably: You can still play as Austin if you didn't pre-order it from Gamestop right?

'Sides, could always just use Superstar Threads to make his jeans black or something. Also, just watched a wide selection of finishers - seeing as how I was gonna create Haruhi Suzumiya, the running dropkick is awesome.

To clear it up, the ONLY way to get Austin for "free" is to pre-order from Gamestop. Fixed. They've already said he'll be available as a downloadable character later on.

How is a pre-order not free? It goes to the purchase of the game. You just pay a very small bit of the game earlier.
