So which system is everyone getting the game for? I tend to like 360 versions better, but the DLC fiasco from last year has made me consider the PS3 a bit more.

There's apparently been some rumblings that the first downloadable content will be out in a few weeks. Presumably that goes for the PS3. Those of us with the 360 version will get it in April. If they pull that shit again this year, I'll honestly debate never buying another one of the SmackDown games.

I bought it for the PS3 last year.
I still haven't made up my mind yet. I am leaning heavily towards the 360 version..however.

I will be getting SvR '10 tomorrow after my classes are done (around... 2-3 p.m.).
Gamertag is in the signature if anyone's willing to play me... and deal with shoddy microphones.

Picking it up at Midnight. Cause I'm a sheep. And so I can make Danielson, Nigel, and Hero, unlock Vince, and start my storyline.

Jesus christ. That was amazing. And the sad thing is, the mannerisms/selling* EASILY trumps anything THQ has EVER done. And WTF? NO CLIPPING WITH THE ROPES?! *Ok, to be fair, most people 'selling' the moves in that video SHOULD be dead. There is more of these videos on his Youtube page. I believe his name is kingoftheworld234. www.youtube.com/user/kingofmyworld324And if you want to use the program he uses you can go here: www.naturalmotion.com/ele.htmYou might wanna search around on the website for some tutorials on how to use it. Also, I think THQ purchased the Euphoria engine. So we might get a taste of that video in game format. I was going to download the program but then when browsing their forums, after clicking on a topic in the help/tutorials section that was stickied and said "Important read"....I got hit by a Trojan, that my Antivirus fortunately stopped just in time. So yeah, I don't really trust that program or that site. While I dont agree with it at all, I see why females can't fight males. It's probably WWE's choice, not THQ, given their "PG" shift. That, and the fact that THQ doesn't have the clout, or quite frankly the balls, to get away with "male on female violence" the way Rockstar does with GTA, even though there's no comparison between the two, that wouldn't stop idiot parents and "media watchdogs", IE, losers with far too much time on their hands. Also, just so you all don't get disappointed when you play the game, here's some bad news I've found out: 1 - When you copy a CAW, the copy doesn't have the attribute points of the original. That pisses me off. I always made a random 80 OVR CAW in the past, and I just made a bunch of clones of him then made them into someone else, so it wouldn't take as long to get points. 2 - All CAWs with custom themes get the Raw theme when uploaded/downloaded. I've heard this can't be changed. 3 - Custom themes don't work during downloaded storylines 4 - Only "struggle submissions" can tap people out, and there are only 16 of those. 5 - Each CAW can have up to three custom logos. 6 - This is incredibly dumb....apparently CAWs can have three alternate attires....but all three have to share one pool of 48 (points). Read someone complaining that it was impossible to make a good Randy Savage with entrance attire, because there aren't enough points for tights, a hat, a jacket and glasses. Incredibly lame. Long hair even takes more points than short hair. 7 - You can't edit ANYTHING for downloaded CAWs, including entrance music, highlight reel, entrance vid, moves, name, or appearence. So I won't be using this feature at all. Even if you copy a DLed CAW, you can't edit the copy. Also, CAWs you download go back down to their starting attributes. Which is better than everyone being 99 I guess. And that.....that might just be me out. 3 logos is better than none but still very restrictive. And sharing 1 points pool for all the attires is utter crap. Its basically the same Ring, Entrance, cutscene deal as EVERY OTHER YEAR only now we're limited by 48 points instead of 64 layers. And while some objects take up no points, some things like hair take up 5-10 points. So it's probably more restrictive. God dammit. Just....f*** THQ. Why is it always 1 step forward, 3 steps back with them? And yet I'll still probably get the game. Not on release, but probably early December. Why? Because SVR09 is a pain to play now and I want a new and midly enjoyable game. Urg.

That caw point system sounds stupidly restrictive especially if it costs 5-10 points just for hair, so unless the WiiS2 version is still using the old layer system, I'm probably going to pass on this game. Restrictions, restrictions, restrictions. I'm getting pretty sick of this crap. I'm probably just gonna give HCTP another go along with my Gamecube WWE games.

Unlimited use of CAWs in Create a Storyline! also i don't have any current gen console

I am going to puke. This will seriously be the WORST...the aboslute worst SVR for the 360 this year. I just can't stand it. There is no seriously no excuse for THQ to be bias against 360 owners.
The PS2 is basically discontinued, so why on Earth would they make the PS2 version better than the friggin' 360! It's absolute bulls**t.

I just don't want restrictions that were never there before. I wouldn't say that this is the worst SvR game, but I will say that I'm pretty disappointed.

Those restrictions weren't there before because the CAW feature has been upgraded to include 3D parts. We knew that from day 1. We had to expect the game to restrict some aspects for created wrestlers now as more work/data has been put into them.

Well THQ better pull something freaking spectacular out of their behinds to impress me. If they want to win me back, SVR 11 better have a different freaking engine and better customization.

Something tells me they don't give a rats ass about people like you...they care about the "Sheep" who buy it every year, even though they spend months hyping/complaining about it.

I got both last year (got the 360 to start with and trade it for PS3 when I got my PS3) and vastly preferred the PS3 version which I will be picking up tomorrow. The controls feel much better, the graphics look better, it loaded faster, the custom intro music was easier to deal with and, they had DLC.

I'm getting the PS3 version. That free online service is just too big to ignore. Plus, I've been playing the PS2/PS versions of SvR/SD! forever. I'll be more familiar with it than I would be on the 360.
