So, just for clarity's sake, the slots that your CAW has for alternate attires are taken up by backstage and entrance attires, right? And they take the place of what used to already be in the game anyways? No, backstage and entrance attires are their own things, and each attire gets its own backstage and entrance attires. You have the one point sum that spreads across all attires, however.

Ah. So, if I choose, I don't have to make multiple attires and focus all the points into one outfit then?

I got the game yesterday and made 3 different outfits and still had points left over. When you finish your ring gear and want to make your entrance or cinematic attire, you're asked if you want to copy an outfit over to those slots. If you choose not to, your created wrestler will just have the hair, skintone, facepaint, tattoos, mask, etc and can do the rest from scratch.
Now this is just for the basic attire set and haven't yet made alternate ring/entrance/cinematic attire sets yet. Be interesting to see if you can create wrestlers with attires based on various gimmicks while using a single CAS slot (ie 1-2-3 Kid, Syxx, X-Pac)

Okay, time to answer a few things:
Yes Godz, the Vader mask is in. Don't worry.
After playing around with CAW for about an hour...I got pissed off. I had a PERFECT representation of myself last year. My entrance would have my ROH skull cap, glasses, knee pads, everything. This year...no glasses or skull cap, cause I need knee pads. Hair alone takes up 26 points. 26 F***ING POINTS FOR HAIR!!!!!
I don't see an Alternate Attire option for CAW. Just the Entrance/Backstage stuff.
The moves are...wow. It's going to take a little getting used to (instead of clickin the stick for UCM, it's now a Struggle Submission).

You get the Alternate Attire option if you go back and edit the attire and when you're done, you get a prompt asking you if you want to save it as an alternate attire.

If you have a skull cap why do you need hair? I'm thinking he's going for the Gregory Helms look of skullcap on top of hair. Would this be right?

Went and got my game at Midnight from Gamestop..first time I've ever done that, though it wasnt because I was dying to get the game..I just don't have school tomorrow, and I was up...
...anyway, I would have been able to get in and out quick if it wasn't for the 40 unshowered looking fat kids in black t-shirts waiting to get Borderlands or whatever its called.
First thing I did on SDvR was give everyone 3 different color outfits. Gotta say, this is going to make Tag Teams and Stables a lot funner now that they can have matching outfits.

So Dusty's shirt / pants look and DiBiase's suit are the only outfits the two of them have? Kinda expected as much, but still.
On another note, I really hope edits of Beth and Shelton look better in-game, because those look horribly glitchy in the pics. Also, I find it interesting that Tommy Dreamer's theme suddenly has a different name - it's called Bad Dream in playing on the main menu (seriously, they play Tommy Dreamer's theme?!), and I've heard the production name for it is Boxed Man.
Eh, what's it matter, I'm giving him Man in the Box anyway.

I think they did change it. I can't remember what the new animation is, but I think it's still canned. And to Krimzon: the Demon Neck Crank was one of my favorite moves in the game. I'd always give it to my monster CAWs. KOing people with it is very satisfying. Oh yeah, It's still a canned animation but atleast it's not as ridiculous as it once was. Break dance selling and all. It's not as ridiculous but it's still pretty lame. I'll be playing say Jeff Hardy and suplex them onto the panel but my body won't land on it yet I still do the stupid hang & fall thing into the ring. Goddamnit I wanted to suplex him through then pull off a Swantom. But one thing I gotta give 09 though is that Diving moves worked 65% of the time unlike in the others were it all ways f***ed up.

Ah, I see. Looked at more of the Superstar Threads pics and these pics are just low-quality in general. Good, was worried Shelton and Beth were doomed to look horrible.
Edit: Hm, can only edit one of the colors on Goldust's face paint. Ah well, I guess, was going to make an inverted Goldust but suppose the face paint can stay in that case.

Pretty decent. Going to get some sleep, then probably start on Edge tomorrow. Oh, and about CAWs. Formulas are wonky again, meaning they don't transfer over perfectly from last year. The face does, but the body gets a bit messed up.

Is it possible to change the colour of Cena's shorts? I've always preferred his black shorts or his camouflage ones as opposed to the Jeans.

You can see what's editable on everyone by clicking on the pics of their default attires. For the record, I plan to give Cena a black attire, a khaki one, and one based off of these godawful bright yellow shorts he wore on Velocity once.

It's pretty fun. It would be if No Mercy and Smackdown had a one night stand and DoR was the aftermath. It also did things that Smackdown vs RAW is JUST doing such as turning you opponent over on the mat, true apron moves, turning your oponent on the turnbuckle(is Smackdown implementing that this year?). It also has a bigger HIAC, TLC matches that don't end in pinfall, first blood in almost ANY match type, you can interrupt any move, slam opponents on top of weapons, and I think there are some moves that Smackdown doesn't even have yet. It's a shame THQ didn't continue the series on the Nintendo systems. Especially considering that the Wii kept getting the short end of the Smackdown vs Raw stick until recently. Let's not forget the top of HIAC had FOUR breakable squares in DoR as opposed to SD's 2, which they STILL have. Smashing your opponent through the top of the cell and into the ring looked so cool. If it were a powerbomb, it would be a powerbomb all the way down (victim lands on their back, attacker lands on their stomach). If it were a brainbuster, the victim would land and bounce off their neck in a sick manner. SVR still has that retarded "Victim lands on their back while you hang on the rim and eventually fall" garbage. TLC matches in DoR are a f***ing blast. I've played the best matches of my life with my friend in those matches. Last Man Standing was awesome too. I never played DOR If I buy it now it will play on my Wii, right?

Must say, is kinda amazing how both games work in pretty much everybody male on the roster in the storyline. Hell, 2 has a place for Kenzo Suzuki!
