So, the punchline is they find out MMA is better. I came in to say the same thing. It wouldnt surprise me if they went with the yearly "you know, *thing* sucks" ending. Kinda like the ending of the Guitar Hero episode...

So, we're all getting excited for what is 80% likely to be a "wrestling sucks/is completely fake/is gay/all wrestling fans are idiots/rednecks, so lets make fun of them for it" episode? Because I can almost guarantee that's what it's gonna be, because Trey and Matt have REALLY bottomed out as writers when it comes to the funny over the past few seasons, so it wouldn't shock me to see them take that low road.

I disagree about the quality of South Park, first of all. Every season has classic episodes. And them making fun of something you don't like isn't "low road".

This. Half of their episodes nowadays are just "This thing we saw on TV or celebrity everyone is talking about sucks." padded out with a random joke that is repeated again and again in the episode and then later on the internet to the delight of no one.

When the way they're making fun of it isn't in any way accurate, it absolutely is low road. If they made fun of wrestling in a way that is legitimately funny and treats it like what it is(for example...well, Wrestlecrap), then I have no problem. But when it's "heh, heh, rednecks are the only people that like wrestling, how stupid are they, right?", yes, it's low road.

Have you seen the majority of the people at WWE live events?

I would think if this was a positive WWE episode, they would try very hard to get Parker & Stone in as Guest Raw Hosts.

I mean I know Trey and Matt are creative but.... ;-) I'm just hoping it'll be funny. Whether they take a rational stab at it or an exaggerated cliche one, here's for hoping some hilarious moments.

Okay, this I'm curious about. So far both halves of the present season have royally sucked, but this could be fun. You didn't like the episode with Butters as a pimp? That was epic.

Hell, the real question here is what will be funnier, this or the upcoming wrestling episode of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia featuring Piper

If they do drugs, have sex with random chicks, and bash each other with chairs, i'd be set.

It's possible the pro wrestling will only be a small part of the episode. Based on the preview clip the boys attend a WWE show and decide to sign up for their school's wrestling team. Once they discover amateur wrestling is different than the professional stuff that could create a problem for them to overcome with pro wrestling never being mentioned again. Oh, and this isn't the first time Matt and Trey have had wrestling on one of their shows. The short-lived "That's My Bush" featured a wrestling episode where George Bush became "The Masked Loser." His match drew higher ratings than the State Of The Union address.
