When the way they're making fun of it isn't in any way accurate, it absolutely is low road. If they made fun of wrestling in a way that is legitimately funny and treats it like what it is(for example...well, Wrestlecrap), then I have no problem. But when it's "heh, heh, rednecks are the only people that like wrestling, how stupid are they, right?", yes, it's low road. Thats how EVERYONE looks at wrestling fans, though. And lets be honest. Have you seen the majority of the people at WWE live events? Sure, but it's the comedy version of low hanging fruit. Honestly, being a fan of the show I don't know if they'll go that route. It's not Seth Macfarlane here. Whenever South Park makes fun of something (and this is just my opinion) they usually have their own unique spin on a topic.

I'm just glad they're at least trying to be current about the product.
If this was The Simpsons or Family Guy, they'd be going to the Boston Garden to watch Randy Savage wrestle Haystacks Calhoun.

Gee, aren't us wrestling fans defensive eh? WWE isn't our mother. Not really we just don't like to constantly be stereotyped as Braindead Rednecks

Yea, that "Get The F Out" t-shirt is really up with the times! And did you see how rowdy that crowd was? I haven't seen a crowd so excited in years

Perhaps, but seems like from the rest of the thread that most folks are wanting to see them have some fun with Vince and the IWC. Seems more like the majority are willing to laugh at themselves, so long as it's a fair depiction. I'm just glad they're at least trying to be current about the product. Sounds a bit like that King of the Hill episode where Bobby and Connie tryout for the wrestling team and do a worked match, and the coach asks "what are they doing?!" and one of the kids says "It's real wrestling."
Good times.

It was probably made before his death. I may be wrong, but they take 4-5 days to make a South Park episode, I'm betting ya they are not even done with it. They can make episodes that quickly.. but what most people reference for that is the election episode from last year where they basically made two episodes (one for McCain winning and one for Barack winning). Then they edit some tiny little tidbits about certain things in.. and poof. But if it's Southpark.. I'm sure if there's a death joke... it's going towards Benoit, not Albano.

And no death jokes.
Y'know, except for El Pollo Loco.
Leave the memories alone, Crazy Chicken. Viva la raza.

I liked how they incorporated "The Guy from Fort Collins."...that along with Token looking like R-Truth and some random Rhyno signs in the crowd (please tell me I am not the only one who saw those) I thought the episode was OK. I'd say it was probably the worst of this mini season, which isn't an indictment as this season has been awesome, but I felt it could have been better. Still as I said an OK episode
