What the f***?
This is something I never thought would happen. I'm guessing it's for family reasons, and to take a big part in MMA. Like has been said he could be starting his own company, or becoming a part owner.
I was hoping he'd become the backer for Legacy.

I'm completely surprised there are not any stupid SHANE MCMAHON TO TNA rumors flying yet.
Honestly and completely surprised.

Sad to hear. I was hoping he would take over the company with HHH and Stephanie when Vince retired. I think he would've done better with the company.

Well, if he wants to do this, then I wish him good luck. Not that he needs any, he's a talented guy. And just for the record, if he buys TNA, I'd mark.

It does make you wonder if it's a work, doesn't it? Until I have a reason to believe otherwise, it's a work. Makes you wonder. Is it a pure work (aka, not really leaving and something will happen) or is it a Ninja Work (aka, actually leaves, does something like buys TNA/ROH and merges it with WWE legit)

I've been considering tuning into it. This would be the icing on the cake.

Wasn't there some newz a while back that said that Shane's position in the Global Media division was a result of him getting somewhat forced out from the main company by Stephanie and HHH?
Who knows, maybe the newz is true, and this time, he's leaving for good.

It does make you wonder if it's a work, doesn't it? Until I have a reason to believe otherwise, it's a work. After the WWE almost got into trouble with the Trump buying Raw storyline, I don't see them tempting it again. They're announcing the resignation of someone high up in the company. It's not a work, because as a traded company they could get into trouble for misleading investors.

To be fair, a lot of that seems to be from the majority of WWE investors being some of the dumbest people on the planet by all appearances.

This is the same company who thought it would be an awesome idea to air a terrorist angle on the day of an actual terrorist attack.
