My 2 votes go to The overuse of gimmick matches, and the X-Division put on the backburner.
The problem I have is that about 75 percent of most if not all TNA PPVs matches have a name and/or a gimmick attached to it. It's like they are telling guys like AJ Styles and Kurt Angle: you can't sell a match on your own unless there is some foolish name/gimmick attached. Don't get me wrong, WWE is guilty of this crap too, but TNA moreso.
Whatever happened to an old school singles or tag team match that did not need a gimmick-name added in order to sell it?

I enjoy what a lot of people call "overbooking". I feel like 1 Impact! fits more stuff into their two hours then the WWE fits into their 5, but that's just me...

No Cheerleader Melissa in a burka option? That'd get one of my votes, especially considering one of TNA's strengths, the Knockout division, is so weak right now and WWE's women's divisions are a lot better right now.
Oh, and naming a wrestler Suicide. We're not even 2 years removed from Benoit, for Christ sakes.

I'm sorry...Tenay is way more annoying than West. He's a shell of his former WCW self.

My main beef is with Vince Russo. His influence is felt on every TNA Impact. From the spastic segments (not letting what just happened to sink in), way too short matches, smarky references, overly scripted announcing, 20 minute promos, war of the factions (this time it's the focal point of TNA), the obsession with the mafia, gimmick matches up the pooper (including meaningless tournaments), etc, etc. In short, fire Russo! Also, though I like him, Don West as color commentator isn't working for me anymore.

None of the above:
1. Impact is ALWAYS in Orlando, and they haven't done a PPV close to where I live in over a year. 2. Overpromotion of the TNA video game... does Tenay need to say "It's Suicide, straight from the Impact video game" every week?

The overuse of gimmick matches. These things are supposed to be feud enders yet they're done add nausea PPV in, PPV out.

The gimmick match fetish they have is a major problem for me. They don't feel special. It isn't that they don't have enough vareity of them, it's that they're used as fued starters, enders, fillers, extenders, and sometimes for no reason at all. They're just there.
Also, the Mantel/Russo combination needs to remember that worked shoots CAN work, but not if they're just throwing them out all the f***ing time.
Simply put, as both my issues with TNA have a common thread, stop overusing things. Yeah, Lockdown was cute the first time, but when you have to over-gimmick a gimmick match just so it stands out, that should tell you something.

Horrible announcing and use of gimmick matches to advance storylines.

so hard to choose. i went with Don West because he sucks even on mute, and the booking because, well, it basically covers everything else with the exception of Vince Russo. they overuse gimmick match because of the booking, they have run-ins by people not involved in the storyline because of the booking, they want to focus the booking on other crap so the x-division is on the back burner, and the Machine Guns are being buried because of the booking

My biggest beef with TNA is that they do so much stupid shit that fails, but rather than learning from their mistakes, they actively continue to make the same mistakes.
Case in point, Feast or Fired. f***in' dumb idea in theory, f***ing failure in practice, so what do they do? Bring it back again hoping it won't be a failure again. Same thing with Lockdown, same thing with the Reverse Battle Royale, and rumour has it, same thing with the Barbed Wire Christmas Tree match.
They don't learn from what's bad and fails OR what's good and succeeds, and they'll constantly ditch stuff that works in favor of trying to force their failed projects on the fans again in a misguided attempt to MAKE them work, and they just don't realise it doesn't work that way.

The over-push of the MCMGs.
I didn't particularly care for them in the first place, and having them bore me for half the show isn't helping.

The fact they can't afford a boom mike and the relentless gimmick matches.

In addition to the poor booking I'll vote for them having an awkward time slot on Bravo.

Gimmick matches and the continual burial of the Guns. And I'm not just saying that because of the imminent Suicide vs the Guns two on one handicap xbox controller on a pole match either. Well, ok, I am. I agree with mcmahonfan, that the booking leads to all the strange and wonderful stipulations. I also think that someone in TNA needs to get a grasp on how "new" does not have to mean "innovative".
