I'm suprised at the Goblin hate in here I thought Dark Reign was well liked I really wish they'd have left him dead like he was for decades. The Norman Osborn in the MU now is an interesting character, but doesn't have much to do with what he was till just a few years ago.

There's no such thing as progress when it comes to Re(tarde)d Hulk. They've literally done nothing as far as "progress" would be concerned with him. They've just made a Red She-Hulk so there's even more mystery and intrigue and all those other things that Jeph Loeb wishes there would be. Unfortunately, we all gave up on caring about this nonsense ages ago. Who's the Blue one, then? Just a non cannon character for a story Jeph's daughter came up with.

Hey, but crime is at 0%, so Doom is doing something right. That whole Lucia Von Bardas thing in UA 2....yeesh. Did that ever feel like a bad fit. Only ONE person can run Latveria....ONE! And his name is DOOOOOOOOOM! ;D Also All Doom needs is the right woman, Look at Black Adam. If Doom ever got Pussy wipped Latveria will be much better than it is now (Which is good) because that worked out so well for Adam

Doctor Light, not so much for the actual character, just the offensive piece of s*** story he was in, and what they made the character do in Identity Crisis.

Superboy Prime. He's just so f***ing annoying. Countdown ruined him IMO. But isn't he back in the "real world" now, as in he doesn't matter anymore?

He's easily one of the worst villians I've ever seen in a superhero book. It's like they took one of the posters from the DC Message Boards and turned him into a character. I don't know if Johns is to blame for that, but he's one of the many reasons why I quit reading DC. I also can't stand any of the Teen Titans villains, but I never liked the Teen Titans to begin with which is kind of odd because I liked Nightwing. The Joker also gets on my nerves these days. It's like no one can defeat him because he's crazy and I keep hoping that one day someone will finally kill him off. I actually think Bruce Timm and Paul Dini did the best writing that character ever had and no one has really topped it since. I know he's Batman's worst enemy, but I always preferred characters like Two-Face, Clayface, and Poison Ivy. Somehow they never came off as near undefeatable like the Joker does sometimes.

But still Kandaq had a great Year (well close to a year) while Adam was pussy whipped.

I don't know if Johns is to blame for that, but he's one of the many reasons why I quit reading DC. Which part's the copout? Anyways, don't forget that he wasn't the only allegory in Infinite Crisis. Earth-2 Superman represented older comic book readers who are never satisfied with change while Earth-2 Lois Lane represented the way things used to be. Alexander Luthor, on the other hand, represented a liking of big Crisis-style stories that brought about big changes. Earth-2 Lois was their voice of reason. Earth-2 Superman and Superboy-Prime (to a lesser degree) cared about Earth-2 Lois. Alexander Luthor only pretended to care. Superboy-Prime gets the heat because he survived and would become a caricature of himself in Countdown. I'll bet anything that Alexander Luthor could have been worse if his allegory stuck around. One of the things that I like about The Joker is that unlike most others, he isn't afraid of Batman. He laughs at him in fact. And that collides with Batman's whole method. That being said, I think that The Joker is simply overused.

Completely agree, there's always something that stops him killing him like that section in Hush when he's strangling him. One reason why I love The Dark Knight Returns, because the Joker... {Spoiler}..gets stabbed multiple times and has his throat crushed. Then Batman explodes his friggin' body to make sure

Thanos. Just a poor man's Darkseid. Most of the 90s era villains were terrible. Cassandra Nova and Vulcan The Hand (or any other ninja type character) Hush Dr. Rape, er, Light

Luthor, I've never read a story where he truly gets what is coming to him.
Not even the movies does he get what he deserves.
