My Vote for Lamest Disney Villian just happen to be the newest one. After going to see'The Princess and the Frog ' this afternoon I came to this fact.
God I had so many high hopes for this movie; I mean they had the man whom voiced Golaith in the Disney animated series "Gargoyles" & The Cat in "Coraline" doing Faciler voice but half way through the movie you soon realize that he is a limp character that without the spirits that inhabit the tribal mask he'd be a simple con man straggling for every bit he got. An compared to other supernatural and non-supernatural villian in disney he would fall to the bottom of the ladder and find his place behind Judge Claude Frollo but at least he didn't have to answer to anyone but god.
In conclusion loved the movie just think disney let the cailber of there villian sink and didn't use him to his fullest like they have done with there past villians.

I love Frollo, so your argument falls on deaf ears here. Also haven't seen Princess and the Frog yet, either.

Sorry, but technically Don Knotts and Tim Conway were villains in the Apple Dumpling Gang movies. You don't get lamer than that.
Bear in mind that they made the movies worth watching, but they were lame bad guys nonetheless.

Captain Hook. I always thought he was an incompetant doof. True but at least he was a captain under his own right and had a survior instinct that keep him on his toes because he knew himself mortal enough to fear the tick took of the clock.

Frollo kicks ass.
While different from the book (and really, they shouldn't be compared), he was really well done. His villainy was there because he thought he was doing best and actively worked toward it. He was arrogant, yes, but he was also a flawed man and he recognized it. Disney actually showed character depth and development with him, which they don't tend to show with their villains. He wasn't evil for the sake of being evil (Ursula). He wasn't a whiny leader (Scar). He believed he was doing what was best for people, but that led him to do horrific acts.
As for the new one, I'll see it before I pass judgment. I've heard people who were quite complimentary of the new villain.
As far as the lamest villains, Edgar from the Aristocats and Medusa from the Rescuers take the cake.
And, in fact, as great as Pixar movies are, I think they all for the most part have really weak villains.

I completely disagree about Frollo being a lame villain. I haven't seen the new movie either, so I don't know why I'm here.
But about Pixar, yea, they did have some crummy villains in a majority of their movies. Except, maybe Hopper from A Bug's Life, and Syndrome from The Incredibles.

Coraline wasn't Disney, it's Universal Studios.
I don't know. I can't really think of any lame villains. Do the Siamese Cats in Lady and the Tramp count? They didn't really do much.

/\ I'd say Charles Muntz from Up makes a good villain, too.
I liked Facilier, he was creepy and actually did some pretty rotten things. sure, his evil plan left a bit to be desired, but he was entertaining and that's all that really matters to me.
worst Disney villain is def. Edgar from Aristocats. guy takes so many idiotic leaps in logic it ceases to be funny in the first couple minutes, and he gets beaten by a bunch of alley cats. then again I wasn't crazy about The Aristocats to begin with so I might be nitpicking.

The butler from Aristocats. That is exactly what I was going to say when I came to this thread too. Maybe also the toy collector guy from Toy Story 2.

I think the rat in Lady and the Tramp that came in the house, and was endangering the baby, was dangerous enough to be a villain.

fall to the bottom of the ladder and find his place behind Judge Claude Frollo Stopped reading here. Frollo is an awesome villain (plus he has one of the best villain songs). Edgar the Butler is probably the lamest. His entire plan is to drown four cats and he even fails doing that.
