It's a tables match. He's not gonna look weak losing it unless they book it really stupidly. aye, my thoughts exactly

It's a tables match. He's not gonna look weak losing it unless they book it really stupidly. He dominates the match for 15 minutes and decides to take a quick breather by sitting on the table. It breaks under the pressure and Cena wins.

I'll say yes, but who cares? Sheamus is awesome.

I think it is a great thing. No Cena/HHH/HBK/Orton. When was the last time we saw that? So what if Sheamus looses. He is the inexperienced person. He's supposed toloose.

HHH sees himself in Sheamus. It is possible. The poor guy is literally transparent.

Out of everyone else on Raw, the only other logical "new" choice was going to be Miz but I guess they didn't want Champ Vs Champ (Or maybe they have another plan, perhaps Miz Vs Swagger for the title?) If you compare the heels of Raw's past few weeks who has had the best few weeks? Swagger, the man who trades victories with a man half his size and beats Primo on the "D-Show" (for arguments sake) and got eliminated last night? Masters, whose pecs can dance? Chavo, who keeps getting embarassed by a midget? Legacy, who can't decide if they are going to turn on Randy or not each month? Or Sheamus, the man who has retired someone, defeated the experienced Finlay and got the winning pin for his survior series team against the IC champ? Hell, even Randy has been getting his arse kicked by Kofi left, right and centre (Kofi being the man that Sheamus eliminated tonight, so as of right now Sheamus > Kofi > Randy in my P25 ) We have something new for once, and if you take into account that Miz Vs Cena has actually already happened in a non title match, Sheamus is the best new choice you have right now.

I think after this guest host GM thing ends, HHH should become the GM for Raw. He should be like the Godfather, get an office, people will constantly ask him for favors and kiss his hand. Also Shawn Micheals would be his right hand man/lacky. Let's say Sheamus wants to be #1 contender, HHH would be in his office. HHH: Remember when I created DX? Micheals: Yeah, that was a great idea boss! (Sheamus enters the room, bows to HHH, HHH holds out his hand and Sheamus kisses his hand) Sheamus: I have a gift for you, it's a weight gain/muscle building formula that is new to the market, I have personally put on 20 pounds of muscle from it. HHH: Thank you for the gift. What is your request? Sheamus: I ask a favor from you, HHH. I would like a WWE title shot. I understand Randy Orton is due to receive one, but I have heard him talking about how you abuse your power and are just an old man holding everyone down. He believes your in ring work is overated and then bragged about how great it was to punt you in the head. HHH: Randy Orton is a punk who doesn't appreciate what I have done for him. He is the lowest of scum and I will deal with him later. As for your request to receive a world title shot, I will give this to you. You seem like a loyal man and have shown me great respect. However some day I will ask for a favor from you, it could be at any time and may be great or little. (Sheamus agrees and leaves)

If Trips was behind this... than it shows that he really is a student of the craft.
When was the last time (Kozlov aside) that a monster like Sheamus was booked?
Lesnar?
Goldberg?
The big difference here is that Sheamus is very dedicated to the art of Pro Wrestling... and I for one think that this kind of push right out of the blocks might be the thing that WWE needs to make the main event scene better.

I was about to say that the last guy who got pushed to the f'ing moon like this was Brock Lesnar.
Honestly, I see a lot of similarities. Both are freaks of nature (Lesnar with his unbelievable strength, Sheamus with his unbelievable skin tone), and both started crushing people pretty much right out of the gate. Sheamus has just had his big PPV win (Lesnar's would have been winning King Of The Ring), so now it's time for the title match with the top babyface.

He hasn't really done anything besides feud with Shelton/Goldie on ECW than squash a jobber or 2 on RAW .. so unless they picked his name out of a hat i'm sure HHH had something to do with it.

MVP or Mark Henry would of been interesting and kind of logical imo.

I just hope this guy isn't like the other pushed to the moon guys like Lesnar and Lashley and flake after 2 years later because they hate someone backstage/gets a big ego.

A big hoss guy being on ECW for a while, then getting rushed into the main event scene on RAW? Hasn't this happened before? Yikes. *Note: I like Sheamus. I'm just sayin'.

Rushed or not, I like the idea of having a fresh challenger for the title. So, if this was HHH's idea, kudos to him.
