I don't think there's anything wrong with wrestlers with backstage pull putting in a good word for other guys to get pushes.
In fact I'd rather guys like Taker, HHH, or HBK offer up ideas for new people to push than the agents or writing staff.
The real question: Does HHH like him enough to lie down for him? =P

I don't think there's anything wrong with wrestlers with backstage pull putting in a good word for other guys to get pushes. QFT. Anyone who thinks that 90% of wrestlers don't politic are naive at best. Some are just better than others at it - they often tend to be the ones that stay near the top. In a worked sport, it often comes down to who can impress or persuade the booker the most. I remember when HBK (one of the biggest and best politickers the business has seen over the last 20 years) came back the summer, how many people were thrilled that the first question he asked was "who's being pushed", thinking he cared about the new guys and the state of the company. HBK went straight into a fued with them, and with one exception (when he tapped in two submission manouevres at the same time), they became DXs personal bitches for two months before dropping below the point where they're not even Orton's backup on a regular basis anymore. All HHH is doing now, is what HBK did for the Kliq's designated driver in 1997.

HHH puts Sheamus over in an interview, saying how much he likes him, and now he's hotfooted to RAW and has a title shot? I think its a bit too soon but yes, it always good to have Hunter backing you.

Definitely, but it's not like that's a bad thing.
Usually Triple H isn't giving an inch to some talent. Now, he's helping a guy who he thinks is good, and actually is good.

This guy I know who is a regular at FCW shows told me this. Don't know if it's true, but an awesome story nonetheless.: Apparently, Sheamus was dating this chick down in Florida, and invited her backstage to a taping. She got backstage and asked, "Is Sheamus here yet," to which someone replied, "No, Stephen (his actual name) hasn't gotten in yet," she said "No, my boyfriend's name is Sheamus." He kayfabed to a girl he was dating. Put the belt on 'em for this sheer act of awesome old-schoolness. For some reason, I picture the wives of wrestlers doing that. "The Undertaker, can you bring home milk please?" is way funnier to me than it should be. (Taker showing ID at the register) Undertaker, The 1313 Mockingbird Lane Death Valley DOB ??-??-?? Height: 6'11" Weight: 320 Restrictions: Corrective lenses Donor: N/A

I'd be too busy calling for a cleanup on my register because I had just pissed my pants.
