What a pathetic performance from the Bruins' right now. No heart or energy. It's sad. They're getting bent over by Chicago, and none of them seem to care.

Tim Thomas can't stop a beach ball tonight. Doesn't help when Chara decides to turn himself into a 7-foot screen for no apparent reason.

They're being outshot 29-13, at home. This is depressing. I don't even remember being this pissed off during the disastrous 05-06, 06-07 seasons.
Atleast pretend like you want to play in the 3rd period. Please.

Johnny Boychuk is the f***ing man.
You could replace Michael Ryder with a sandbag and you wouldn't notice the difference. They need to start resting Mark Recchi every few games, because he's starting to play as old as he looks.

With the Blackhawks playing like this, esp. on the road, I don't know of a team to stop them. I just hope they're not peaking too early. Save some for the playoffs!

The Bruins' should be embarrassed. I'm embarrassed as a fan.
How can a team with that level of talent suck that badly? This is the most inconsistent team I've ever seen, and I've been watching the Bruins' since 93. They just suck the life out of you.
Atleast when the Bruins' had nobody on the team, I could say "well, they don't have anybody, what do you expect?". I'm baffled now.
This Chicago team is going to the Stanley Cup Finals, though.

Indeed, but this is a team that should at least be competitive with the Blackhawks. They weren't. They dominated the first 10 minutes, then transformed into something resembling my old middle school's team, but with sloppier passing. I'm so happy we're paying Michael Ryder $4+ million a year to do nothing.

Jimmy Howard saved the Wings from a beatdown so far as the Kings registered 27 shots on him in the 2nd (and failed to scored)...

Tomorrow night is the Boston College-Boston University game at Fenway Park, and I'm pretty excited. If you can get the game in your area, you should definitely watch it.

What struck me the most about the Bruins while I was watching the Winter Classic was how they seemed to spend so much time in the offensive zone, and yet do so very little with the puck once they had it. Shots didn't go near the net, dynamic plays weren't being set up, etc.
Chicago is beastly this year, and that's all there is to it. I'm dying to see the Devils get their rematch with them in a few months, and hopefully, next time around, one team won't be traveling and playing the second half of a two-nighter. I want to see New Jersey vs. Chicago on a completely even playing field, regardless of what outcome it leads to.
