Well Hulk wants to do a more UWF, NWA, World Class, and old school WWF show. ...so it will be goofy sports-entertainment style wrestling done by hosses with cocaine addictions with 6 powerslams a minute and clean finishes every 49th match? Awesome!

I heard a rumor that there will be a giant canvas mural of Hulk Hogan over the Impact Arena. And that in order to attend tapings, you must wear something yellow or red. Oh, and that if Hogan does make a guest appearance, you must avoid eye contact with him.
Pro wrestling news sites.....about as reliable as Amy Winehouse babysitting your children.

Awesome! Old school WWF featured Ricky Steamboat VS Randy Savage, The Hart Foundation VS The British Bulldogs, Randy Savage VS Ric Flair, just to name a few. World Class offered the popular Von Erich/Freebirds rivalry. The NWA gave the world Ricky Steamboat VS Ric Flair, among other things. Granted, none of them were perfect, but they were hardly bad influences on the industry.

Well Hulk wants to do a more UWF, NWA, World Class, and old school WWF show. He already called Kevin Sullivan and want him to work with Russo, and ED. Yeah just what TNA needs. The guy who was the reason why The Radicals left WCW. Kevin Sullivan would be just as bad as Russo and Ed if not worse. I don't trust a guy who on shoot interviews fails asleep.

There's a good reason for that...

Pro wrestling news sites.....about as reliable as Amy Winehouse babysitting your children. It was stuff Hogan said. Its not some site claiming "One of my sources says that Hogan will do this this and this," its just Hogan mouthing off like he ALWAYS does. Anyway though, if its true and not some work or straight up Hogan lie its probably a bad thing because TNA has been pretty decent however. But (and this is my hope) if Hogan does have some power in the company and his goal is to get the writing a little bit away from writers (doubt he's firing them) and a little more in the hands of the wrestlers themselves... good. I completely agree with him on that front.

He feel that wrestling fans don't have any idea TNA exist. I agree because TNA just promote online only. The Hogan tour has drawn away bigger crowd then any of the TNA shows.

Even WCW at its very worst sold out its Australian tour.

"In TNA, I'm going to listen to those fans and give them what they want. I'm not going to keep shoving a bunch of terrible, horrible, stale programming down their throats," Hogan said, Then don't show up

There's a good reason for that... True. Except Steamboat/Savage was part of WM III, which drew the largest live audience in wrestling history. And it was Hogan/Andre that drew them. Savage/Flair was on the same show as Hogan/Sid, which, like it or not, was a big draw thanks a large part to Hogan.

"If these wrestlers can't talk and these wrestlers can't wrestle they need to head for the door" So says the man who's promos contain 50 uses of the word brother and had that WCW match with The Warrior.

Are these "Hogan proclamations" reminding anyone else of the "Angle rants" from a few years back?

/rant I've got a soft spot for nostalgia as much as the next person, but ever since Hogan popped up on TNA's radar, it just disappoints. TNA is one of those promotions that everyone wants to love, but keeps giving you reason's not too.
With Hogan's new deal with TNA, all we've been hearing is "Hogan, Hogan, Hogan, Hogan, Hogan, Hogan, Hogan (tna), Hogan, Hogan, Hogan," which will probably pull a few more fans, but honestly this kind of hype was better suited for the late 90's.
I know Hogan puts butts in the seats, but it should be all "Styles vs Daniels" right now.
A lot of people say that they need to bring in these older guys to build an audience, but it just seems like they come in and dominate, usually leaving TNA worse for wear.
And this is not the first time (by a long shot) that we've heard this logic. Who did the MEM really put over? No one. Angle is the only guy who I can honestly say has helped to build up some of the young TNA guys.

Hogan says LOTS of things. Some of which actually turn out to be true, others are true only in his imagination.
That said, I'll wait until Hogan actually starts firing people before I will believe it.
