Boomer-sooner? Didnt they already do this angle? Anyways I predict a Shane-O Mac return to the broadcast table. On a similar note, I wonder if a female on play by play would work? I dont think thats ever happened. It sure didn't when they had Lita & Coach host Heat years back. But that could have just been because it's LITA. Yuck, and Lita was just doing Color. Im talking about playbyplay. Of course if they were to do this little experiment, it would probably be Stephie on the playbyplay.........!

what about having NO commentary. Just let the match speak for itself, and the wrestlers tell the story

WWE averages about 2 good matches per 3 shows... I actually remember on a Main Event WAY back in the day. The match was HBK vs British Bulldog, where HBK wins his first IC title. ANyway, the commentary went out during that match, the rest of the audio was fine, I could still hear the crowd and the sounds from the match itself. I found myself MORE into the match because of no commentary. Til this day Id like to have the option of muting commentary

I was really impressed with Paul Heyman when he took over from King at the table. Heyman not only was a great colour commentator, im sure could do play by play just as well, and the potential constant bickering between Heyman and King could add some classic comic value.
Obviously with him being on ECW, this could never work.

Honestly, in most cases commentary adds to the broadcast. It helps you get into the programming and sometimes the announcers will explain something that slips by the television viewer. Imagine watching a football game on TV without a commentary team.

I would want a female commentator, for a bit of a change, but I know none are currently worthy of it. Sounds to me like the Legends Outreach Program needs to look up Chyna's number.

I turned it back on because I realized I could hear the BOOOOOOORRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG chants more clearly.

Imagine watching a football game on TV without a commentary team. Yes!! thats true, but Sports commentary and Pro wrestling commentary are two different animals. I, for one, am tired of "story telling". I want commentary which focuses on whats happening inside the ring 99% of the time. Breaking down strategies and different moves and whatnot. If you want outside of the ring stuff to be known, have a scroller at the bottom of the screen.
