Tough as nails. Awesome all around. i'd always use him in video games, and my first exposure as his singles run in WCW before the MVC.
The guy was big, stocky, and mean. Seriously I loved his power style and I wish more big guys would watch his tapes to see what it is to be a tough guy.

Doc was one of the things that got me interested in this stuff. Him, DiBiase and Duggan were a powerhouse trio in the Mid-South days and while I never met him or saw him live, I'll miss him all the same. Thanks for the memories, Doc. You can finally rest.

2009 sure doesn't want to leave quietly. *sigh* too young. F*** cancer. I wouldn't say nearly 50 is "too young"....it sucks sure, but too young? Eh. It's a shame though, cancer is a bitch.

Yet another great wrestler gone, at a reasonably young age.

Dr. Death Steve Williams is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time and a true legend of the business and going by his book, a man of true class who is dedicated to his principles and the ones he loved. I was devastated when I read of his passing. I feel so bad for his son and his family.
RIP Doc, you're in a better place now.
Oh and between The Doc, Billy Red Lyons, Missing Link, Ernie Ladd, Don Jardine, Big John Tenta, Giant Baba, Brian Hildebrand, Peter Maivia, Andy Hug, Mas Oyama, and all the others who have undeservedly suffered, f*** cancer.

Terrible way to see out the year. From all accounts that I have read, he was a good bloke. My condolences go out to his family.
