It's all on YouTube now. Swagger seems like he can hold his own, and goes over big at the end I think. Also - loved Shad's heel turn.

Having just watched it, I love how the Next Generation was represented:
Swagger as the WHC who wants the show to revolve around him (which is simply awesome)
Morrison and Truth being triumphant
Shad breaking-out as a monster heel
McIntyre as IC champion (though I'm not a fan of him)
Ziggler taking down Khali again
Hart Dynasty noting that they are going to step-up as a team
The NXT Rookies showcasing themselves by taking out Kane
I also have to give major props to Swagger for taking a serious turn and having the aura of a world champion. The address was good, and it became great after the "you have someone to replace Shawn Michaels as the greatest wrestler of all-time" line.

I'm watching this now, and so far (through the Vickie segment) Swagger is carrying himself better than he did as the ECW Champion. Impressive thus far, I must say.

I just watched the show & here is my review
Hits:
Jack Swagger winning the WHC: This was perfect in every way. The crowd gave him a pop simply 'cause Jericho's not champ anymore, but later he got the biggest heat of the night.
Truth & Wisdom vs Cryme Tyme/Shad heel-turn: Even though this match was a 45 second squash, it was only that to personify Shad's anger leading to his turn. It was also handled pretty well.
Swagger/Shelton: Definitely sets up something in the future. I would love to see a match between these two, even though they both excel in amauter wrestling, Shelton modifys it for speed, while Swagger modifys it for power. Can't wait for this future match.
D-Mac vs Matt Hardy: I liked this because I liked back in his fued with R-Truth he would always attack him early, & that's one of the reasons why I was a fan of him.
Dolph Ziggler vs Great Khali: Dear God that was one of the greatest sleeper holds i've ever seen. I HOPE that Khali can improve GREATLY with this R&R he's having.
Beth & Tiffany vs Flawless: Tiffany has definitely improved in the ring & as always Beth looked great in this match.
Hart Dynasty promo: Well, we can pretty much confirm that HD are faces now. I like that they're being built up as the "heirs" to the legacy of the Hart Family. Here's to a bright future for them.
CM Punk promo: The IWC can explain this for me.
Kane vs NXT: When I read this in the spoilers, I thought it was gonna be terrible, but now I know why this happened. Kane's always been about pushing the young guys, & he did this simply for them. They were showcased pretty damn well here, with Bryan, Tarver, & Justin. it was a nice way to get these guys over.
Jack Swagger/Y2J/Edge: This was a great ending to SD! With HBK retiring Swagger sees himself as the guy to fill the void in the WWE, Jericho feels that Swagger doesn't deserve to win the title, & Edge feels that he's the guy that give Swagger the match that can catapult him. Can I say how DEVASTATING his Gutwrench Powerbomb is?
Misses:
Nothing: This was a fantastic episode of SmackDown! Along with the good episodes we got from RAW & NXT, I think this the WWE that we've finally been waiting for.

BTW, any shot of Shad teaming up with Zeke? (Insert New Nation joke here.) They'd be two absolute monsters who could tear through most of the teams on SmackDown (leading up to a match with the Hart Dynasty). Gotta wait until Zeke comes back, though; I'm sure he's still on bereavement leave.

They cut the Taker/CM Punk match, which was unfortunate. I would've rather had this than the Kane/NXT Rookies no-contest, TBH. Especially so soon after HBK's final RAW.

Swagger is AWESOME. Every segment he was in, he just OWNED.
Divas stuff was same old same old, not bad, good enough, kudos for Striker to putting Beth over as hot.
Mr Ziggles was brilliant. I mark for Ziggler anyway, and I love seeing the RNC (up yours non-MMA fans, its a RNC)
Hart Dynasty have real promise as faces, although I dont like the baby pink. It should be neon pink, HART pink.
I doubt this is where it goes, but I hope SHelton gets the major push. Have him completely snap in his next match, acknowledge that he has been drifting along in mediocrity, and start pulling out the craziest stuff he can think of. He MADE MITB the first year, time to bring out that athleticism. This to me should be Sheltons last roll of the dice. Shelton putting his body on the line to become great.

I always felt sports had something against me, and now, the night I was going to watch Swagger win the title, they push it until 2 AM for a preseason game...
