McCool, whether people like to admit it or not, is just as good as Mickie in the ring and technically only lost because of interference (the commentators made note that Mickie looked to have the match won).
Layla has improved tremendously, and from the looks of her reaction after winning, it seems this is the first step towards a storyline leading towards trouble between Michelle and Layla (Layla catching up with McCool talent wise). |

I couldn't agree more, Layla has been the star of Flawless for a while, and let's face it, outside of a horrifically un-PC angle with Gail Kim, the whole Valley Girl thing may not have much left after Beth, because of how its been one Diva at a time rather than just this character all the way. Who knows? A Lay vs Cool feud could be good? Especially if Layla made a remark about McCool Resting in Peace everynight since she has held the belt. |

I'm really starting to get pissed at how wwe lets go of their great women wrestlers. Victoria,Mickie,Lita,and molly holly all have something in common. They contributed largely to the division, yet they all lost their last match. Where as Trish (just to be clear, I'm not a Trish hater, Its just a statement) got to leave the company with not only a legends goodbye and a win, but the title as well, which is very hurtfal for a Mickie Mark like me.
I hope her singing thing goes well, but I really like seeing her wrestle and hope she and Dixie work something out.

I think it definitely has to have something with her asking for her release, as them just letting her go would be, well, dumb.
Letting go of people who are over, unless there is a really good reason, is simply dumb. Mickie was the most over chick on the roster, and it's going to be tough to find someone as over as her.
Letting go of Mickie James was like when TNA lost Gail Kim. She was the top babyface female. They seem to be going in that direction with Beth Phoenix and only time will tell if she is able to get as over as Mickie.
Ever since Trish left, the divas have had a hard time getting a diva who was as over as her, and Mickie is the only one to come the closest. Most of them don't even get a reaction, let alone a positive or negative one. I think Mickie should have been kept around almost to try to get some heat for heel divas, like she did with Michelle McCool, in an angle which I thought was great.
But yeah, I'm guessing she asked for her release, as getting released because they wanted to get rid of her would just be dumb.
