Could do, I always use Cryme Tyme as an example. Just don't see it right away, as in within the next year. Also, it depends on how Mickie's singing Career will pan out. But will the E actually take her back? Stacy tried to branch out...canned Lita got pissed on to end her run despite being more over than Trish Victoria got treated like a joke The only story they had left for Molly was make fun of how thick her ass was. One of the worst things ever seen in wrestling. Probably thought of by Stephanie herself because she probably did the same thing in her suburban schooldays. Trish went out with her head held high but not before making out with McMahon and mopping her up like a slave who got out of control

If she was intentionally trying to get fired I doubt they'll take her back. I could easily see the entire Divas div getting dismantled in five years anyway.

I think it definitely has to have something with her asking for her release, as them just letting her go would be, well, dumb. Letting go of people who are over, unless there is a really good reason, is simply dumb. Mickie was the most over chick on the roster, and it's going to be tough to find someone as over as her. ... But yeah, I'm guessing she asked for her release, as getting released because they wanted to get rid of her would just be dumb. She was doing promotional work for the RAW draft when she got the call firing her and if you read her statements, she had no clue it was coming.

Mickie's my favorite among the women, and has been for years. I'll console myself with Beth, but this is deeply stupid on their part.

And if there's one thing Steve Austin has taught us over the past few years, it's that he generally has the last say in these situations, the "bottom line" if you will. But what possible credential could he have? Why, if you will, is it the bottom line? 'Cause he said so.

TNA will hire her in like 6 months. Most women in WWE don't last too long this time next year Melina will be released. 5 years is pretty much the long shelf life. TNA takes their women more seriously (Although since Hogan got there its not as serious as it use to be) and they would be willing to go after a older girl who can go in the ring rather then WWE who once you reach 30 your days are numbered.

I want my Mickie. Melina should have been released before her. Melina's always injured.

i know it must suck to have a wrestler as loved as mickie get released, but i think people are being a bit harsh on michelle mcCool here. i'm hardly her biggest fan, but she's improved alot in the ring, and it's not like she personally got mickie fired. even if you don't believe michelle deserves her status in the company (i didn't think she did until last summer when she upped her game), some of the jibes about michelle's appearances are just not cool.
anyway, back to mickie, i will miss her. she was one of the most popular of the female wrestlers (i still think "diva" is a stupid term), could put on good matches, and was very charismatic. but she's got a good education, lots of name value, a very dedicated fanbase and alot of side projects (her singing, also i think she runs some business keeping horses or something), so i've got no doubt that mickie will do just fine outside of WWE, which she deserves since according to all stories i've heard, she was a really nice person, as well as a talented performer.

Her singing entrance and stuff still gets her the most boos of any heel diva not called Vickie.

Given the WWE's caste system where some people must exist to put over others, that won't change. Also, it's funny how Melina is still around when a few years ago the NEWZ sites thought she was very close to being released for stuff which sounds worse than what Mickie did.

I agree with your post 100%. I realize that I'm a little harsh on her, but one has to wonder if not doing the "Piggie James" angle could have kept Mickie's Career going farther. I respect Michelle's advancement since her 2006 debut (although I think the title reigns are getting a little long) but I'll never be a fan.

She was doing promotional work for the RAW draft when she got the call firing her and if you read her statements, she had no clue it was coming. Then they're retarded. I heard one rumour, that was said on a show called Right After Wrestling on the Score here in Canada, that she was late for a bus, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Even still, I'm guessing there were probably issues between Mickie and management, but that shouldn't matter. Whether Mickie was being dumb or management was being dumb, it's irrelevant. Jerry Jarrett said that he would rather deal with someone being a pain if they could draw money, then someone who caused no problems and drew no money. Mickie was the most over girl on the roster. Melina was over, but was heel for most of her run. And Beth is starting to get some steam, but neither have even gotten near the response Mickie James got. So, it's pretty incredible to be honest. What's the business sense behind releasing someone who is that over?

I don't watch Smackdown, but I miss her already. I would like to see her go to TNA though, I'm sure they could come up with something fresh for her, in fact I'm looking forward to it. If she sticks to music, then fine, I'd actually consider going to see her, and I'm not big into country music at all.
