I hated his work, thought his haircut was stupid, disliked his gimmick and we've had relentless reports that he didn't care.
So, I don't particularly care, if I'm honest.

About a million years late, but it finally happened. Really though, they both should have been canned and Kaval brought up long ago.

'John Cena's' view: I am sad to hear the wwe has decided to release carlito. I always thought he could, and should have accomplished more than he did. I wish him the best twitter.com/wwejcena

According to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter, WWE's firing of Carlito (Carlos Colon Jr.) this past week for an alleged Wellness Program violation and subsequent refusal to enter rehab is false. The report that was posted on the WWE's website noted that his termination followed a first violation of the program. However, WWE officials indicate that Carlito, did not fail a drug test but instead was fired after he arrived at Monday's RAW in Toronto and management felt that he was unfit to perform. wrestlingnewscenter.ning.com/forum/topics/report-carlito-didnt-violate?xg_source=shorten_twitter

Showing up drunk would kinda indicate he did not care much.

The Drunk Theory really isn't too out there. That sounds like the grounds to fire a guy who hasn't done much on the spot, and sounds like it could have inspired them to blame wellness shenanigans.

"Unfit to perform" could mean drugs or it could mean he was just lazy and phoning it in (like he's been doing for two years now. Either way it seems like they were just waiting for an excuse to let him go.

blatant racism yet again. scott hall and hbk show up to raw and or thunder drunk and get on tv and it's glossed over, but carlito does it (or a wellness failing) and he gets fired. do they not know who batista is? that's the large white elephant for failing a wellness test.........that is if the system was real.

A company such as the WWE would not open themselves up to being sued by announcing so publicly that they had fired someone because they had fired someone for refusing rehab (and thereny inferring that they were an addict). Although, refusing to go to rehab (for any reason) should be a strike in itself, and if it isn't, it should be.

When was the last time Scott Hall or HBK showed up drunk for a WWE show again? Must have been before Wellness/media scrutiny, cause I don't think Hall's last WWE run lasted very long.

Thunder was never produced by Titan. Turner Entertainment still produced WCW back then.
