Interesting but not that surpising anymore that he signed as he been talked about for a couple months. It was to me only a matter of time. I can't wait to be honest because RVD vs. AJ Styles would be awesome to watch. Same with him vs. Joe and a non broken ring match with Daniels but I know Daniels and Joe roles have not been what they where a couple months ago. Who knows. I hope RVD does debut in time for Lockdown so I can see him. Maybe beable to meet him at the fanfest.

He won't have to work a heavy schedule and there are no pot fines. Pretty easy decision to make for RVD really.
I'm sure they'll get him on the Mar 8th show.

Well, the sites are all running that he has signed based off this and SpikeTV is running with the same thing on their Twitter account.

OHHHHHHH.... I'm excited. I'm excited.
I just want him to use Walk again as his entrance music. I hate Pantera, but god I loved that song as his theme.

I think if anyone could be a game changer for TNA it is RVD. There is something about RVD that is just amazing. When he first went to WWE during the Invasion storyline hardly anyone knew who he was yet he still got huge reactions. They could have easily made him their top guy but WWE totally dropped the ball on him.
I know he is 39 years old but I still think he could go for about five more years at least. With all the crazy stuff he does in the ring and not being injury prone such as guys like Batista who hardly do anything in the ring I think they could get RVD the world title and make him the top face for at least a few years.
For some reason though I think him signing will help TNA more than when Angle signed. RVD just has a huge fanbase that no one hardly talks about. He was more popular than half the world champions in WWE in the last decade without even winning the world title. He didn't even need the world title to get over.

The thing is with RVD that keeps him healthy that he well stretched. Everyone seem the chair splits he does. The guy is very flexable which has a lot to do with being able to do what he does and most of the time be healthy. He did have his knee injury that took him out of the game for a year. But before that he was great he cameback he got great again. With the rest, he contiuned to work out and is in the same shape he always been. Say what you want about RVD. The guy is very popular and takes care of his body well. He never out of shape.

Hope he does a few indy shows first to scrape off the thick layer of ring rust he has probably developed.

I hope it's true. RVD can have some killer matches with the TNA roster. I hope he gets the title and has a long run. He has a huge fan base that would tune in to watch. Excited for Monday!

The funny thing is that TNA is mad that this got out and wasn't a surprise.
How ass-backwards is that? More people will watch knowing RVD will show up. Same thing with Jeff Hardy. You promote the top stars. TNA's obsession with keeping new signers under wraps is hilarious.

Great. A lazy, sloppy-in-the-ring, trash-talking, self-serving pothead. He'll fit in well with the company and and its current process of dragging itself down to oblivion.

I think if anyone could be a game changer for TNA it is RVD. So ... Angle (former multiple-time WWE World Champion and Olympic gold medalist), Nash (multiple world champion in two feds), Foley (champion, hardcore legend), and Hogan (duh) weren't enough? RVD is the key to TNA's success? I'm sorry, but no. RVD will not bump ratings. RVD will not bump buyrates. They have a hard enough time getting everybody on the roster on the show as is, let alone squeezing one more person in there. I like RVD, don't get me wrong, but if none of the other "MAJOR SIGNINGS" TNA has had in their tenure did the trick -- and they were all men with better resumes than RVD -- than this won't be the golden ticket. Jed Shaffer ~The smog forecast for Orlando suddenly got really bad.

He'll be fine for what he is. Drawing a face pop cause he's RVD, bringing in at least some ECW fans, and putting on entertaining matches in which he hopefully puts over young heels like (wolfe, AJ, EY, etc.) which he is certainly capable of.

RVD said in interviews that he would only work with the top level guys if he went to TNA. So all those who think he coming in to put over people like Daniels, Kaz, Young, or Wolfe, prepare to be disappointed.
