I'm telling ya, Joes going to come back looking like Steiner. (visualize the Joe action figure that had the same body as the Steiner one)

Samoa Joe is in New Japan, teaming with Curry Man, wrestling as the legendary bodyguard Yojimbo's fat brother, Yojumbo.

Joe is:
- tripping over some bad booking...again - kidnapped by Weight Watchers, and will come back looking like The Rock - kidnapped by ninjas, and Generation Me will be renamed Bad Dudes and they will be bad enough dudes to rescue Samoa Joe - kidnapped by Samoans, and Joe will come back with TWO pee pee tatoos on his face - gets released one day out fo the blue
Take your pick.

I honestly don't think there is any real plan to bring Joe back anytime soon. This does have Russo era WCW written all over it. He'll just sort of show up one day and all will be forgotten.

So long as it's in an insane asylum after A.J. Styles is commited so that Matt Morgan can become the interim TNA Champion in his absence.

He's gonna show up on NXT, the WWE are going to claim its a TNA invasion, and he will go on a losing streak that smashes Daniel Bryan's.

He's off tv to allow him time to grow a beard for his new gimmick: Hoboin' Joe. He'll carry a bindle to the ring and his theme will be a lone harmonica echoing from inside an empty boxcar like the disembodied wail of a thousand lost dreams.

On another board, Sharkboy was quoted as saying: Had Hogan and Bischoff not come in Samoa Joe was going cash in his Feast or Fired case and win the World Title but Bischoff said Joe was to out of shape to be champion. I have been asking around about this Joe angle they are doing and no one seems to know anything or when he will be back. All I know is that Bischoff sees nothing in him and Hogan told some people that he needed a make over and had potential.Joe was previously asked to lose 25 pounds and wasn't happy about it.Things don't look so good for Joe.

Was just gonna mention the "viral" kind of video on Impact two weeks ago. Couldn't make out what Joe said in it though, so thanks for the info Ric. Personally I thought it was a little Vade Hansen-esque the way it just kinda popped up in the show out of nowhere.

You know, could Joe stand to lose a few pounds? Sure, but the line about Bischoff not seeing anything in him just makes zero sense. He's over and works a believable style of match, what else do you really need to be a badass? I can also see why Joe would be unhappy with the "lose weight" edict. He's been yo-yo booked for a long time now, so what's to say he loses the weight and they don't just pull the same crap they did beore?

It's just getting harder and harder to get behind this company. I think I'm turning into Lance Storm. The way I see it is if Joe is unwilling to get into better shape then he simply does not have the dedication nor desire to be a superstar. Didn't Hogan say he wanted more of the Vader,Bam Bam style heavyweights? Probably just meant he wanted Vader and Bam Bam Vader and Bam Bam were taller and more muscular, whereas Joe just looks like your typical 5'10" couch potato.
