But they didn't pretend he wasn't kidnapped. It was brought up, the announcers were shocked to see him, he acted "different", his team mates looked surprised he was there.

If you think they're never going to bring up that he was missing again, sorry... but... that's just wrong.

And if you recall, he was having issues with Bischoff which led to the kidnapping, and he's the one who brings Joe back. So they've got a plan for this story for sure.

Even if the story ends up being underwhelming, it's worth it since the result seems to be pressing the reset button on Joe's gimmick and forgetting the "Nation of Violence sweatpants facepaint ceremonial knife whiny and all about da money except those few weeks he wore a towel over his head" Joe

He didn't lose anyweight, he just didn't oil himself up. Really the guy was just as fat, it's just his tights were pulled up so that it wasn't as noticeable. I liked those shorts he had.

The guy looks generic now. A generic fat guy with lazy eye.

I prefer Joe with the more simplistic shorts. He looked like a complete badass on Monday, and that kick to Stings face was SICK.
