Oh, come on. No videos of Cena walking out with the sad music from the Incredible Hulk? The Crap Forum, I am disappoint. It just happened. Nobody has the video yet. And unless they have the brain of a Dodo, they aren't going to be posting it.

I was not one of the people expecting a John Cena heel turn but I expected something a little bit better to end the PPV than that which was so anti climatic. Don’t get me wrong as I enjoyed the PPV, just a real letdown of an ending. Exactly. No way was he turning, but that ending was just such a letdown from all the places they could gave gone. It doesnt really do anyone in the angle any good - Cena is gone for a bit now? - Barrett loses all his momentum and Orton looks like he cant do the job without Cena doing some shoving after being a footnote in the fued anyway. Just really unsatisfying Yeah, I don't see anyone really coming out of it much the better. The thing for me is, that the pay per view had been booked so much about that one match. Almost every other match was booked this week with very little buildup. While I could enjoy the other matches, I wasn't watching it for them. So a complete anticlimax does rather spoil the PPV for me I have to admit

If they hadn't gotten rid of the creativity of Big Dick Johnson, we may have gotten a better ending than that, or at least that's what I'm telling myself.

Well that was sheer lazy booking. Worst case scenario they could have gone with.

maybe you should stop waiting for a twist, M. Night Yeah, I am giving too much credit to the writers amn't I? It's been such a good angle that they had me fooled into thinking it might have a good outcome Twists are a crutch.

Yeah, I really can't think of a much worse way to have ended it. Admittedly it's 4am and I was already sleepy and cranky and ill, so that may be the bad mood talking now.

What the HELL was that?
There were so many ways that the Main Event could have turned out, and THIS, THIS is what they went with?
they passed up the possibility of a heel turn that would generate interest (and MONEY) and breathing life into a stale character, they passed up the excitement of the cash-in and/or a new WWE champ, and they passed up establishing a new main event star in either Barrett or Miz FOR THIS!
They chose a 20 minute Cena sadface extravaganza and made most everyone look like morons.
Cena---The man you saved, and got "fired" for, gets his jollies by kicking members of your family in the skull. And the one time retribution makes sense you save him?
Barrett-- Loses in the biggest match of his career. How? Because of the special guest referee HE assigned for the match. The Nexus looks stupider than ever.
Orton- He's just there. Looks like a weak champion, and worse, is playing second-fiddle constantly to Cena/Nexus's feud. HE'S THE CHAMPION! Regardless of personal feelings about him, he may be suffering the worst in this farce, and it's arguably affecting the credibility of his title reign.
My head hurts from the sheer amount of facepalmage that occurred tonight.

Yeah, all of the people that were expecting a Cena heel turn or Barrett winning the title will be disappointed but I really don't see how that is anti-climatic at all. The top guy just said his farewells. It ended on a big cliffhanger. Yeah, we all know he's coming back but so what? You probably didn't think the same when Austin was fired during the Attitude Era.

This was really a night of red herrings with Truth, Miz, and Barrett all hinting towards something going down, but in the end, Cena simply did the right thing.
The patented mirror universe Russo anti-swerve.

Well that was sheer lazy booking. Worst case scenario they could have gone with. That and the World Title ending. All these scenarios we could have got and we got that. All that build up involving Miz, Truth, Otunga and others and we get that? The most anticlimatic end to a match I've seen in a while no doubt. What is the bigger picture? Why did Nexus help Kane? Who the frick is the RAW GM? Will we ever get answers?!!

Cena said Wade was guaranteed to get a beat down after the match from him. That didn't happen either. The other guys in The Nexus came down to save him from that anyway. Barrett is due for a win now. He's been screwed over by Cena twice now, and now he's out of the picture, a title win shouldn't be too far away. So not being allowed to cheat to a title win is being screwed? Interesting logic.

The hero of the story resisting temptation and doing the right thing in spite of it being contrary to his own well being is a classic plot device, and that is exactly what this was, and more or less exactly where I thought this story was going to go from the outset. This. Exactly this. It's what I've been saying for a month now: It's a morality play.

I don't have a problem with Cena being fired as the result for the match. I have a problem with how they booked the finish. Surely people getting paid to do this could've found a more interesting, exciting, entertaining way to do this.

By twist I'm not meaning fingerpoke of doom or anything stupid or Russo-ish. But in setting up a pretty impossible dilemma for the match, I think most people expected ...something! to happen Something that actually justified the build, rather than as someone said, just giving us a match that wouldn't seem out of place on Raw. Something that didn't leave me with a whole bundle of unanswered questions (mainly ones beginning with "what was the point of...")

My head hurts from the sheer amount of facepalmage that occurred tonight. Cena's heel turn could kill as much interest as it would generate. Barrett made a ruling that he thought would give him the title and at least get rid of a thorn in his side. Orton beat the top contender clean.

Realistically, though, how long could the "Cena sadface" angle go on before Nexus started drawing X-Pac heat? They were taking a chance the entire length of its existence. The only thing that might have been more satisfying might have been in hearing Cena tell Wade, "Chuck you, Farley: I QUIT!" then letting the chips fall where they might. It would have been a heck of a lot more satisfying to those fans who might not be doing so well overall and may well be hating or worried about their jobs - a touch of Austin, if you will.

I will say one thing if you're a mark like I was when Austin got fired or if you're a Cena fan this finish probably affected you but it just left me cold. Makes me question why I stayed up till 4 in the morning for this.
