- Impact will be pre-empted by Spike on September 9. Sources at the network say that there will be no TNA programming on Spike next week, which will be the week after No Surrender. -411mania.

I hope not. I'm tired of Star Wars marathons.
That sucks. I think it's really bad for Spike not to air a follow up episode of Impact after No Surrender.

My schedule has Disorderly Conduct on all night, but that could just be for Canada.

googling it (woman), it looks to be a marathon of "Gangland", according to a PWinsider article.

So Spike is going to pre-empt the only show of theirs that I watch for Gangland?! Meaning I won't have anything to watch Thursday thanks a lot Spike (sarcasm).

that explains a lot. why watch tna (or WWE Superstars on WGN for that matter) when you could spend more time watching favre and brees go at it again? although if i'm dixie carter, i'd at least have impact on wednesday.

This may be the smartest move in TNA history.

This isnt a smart move. ITS RIGHT AFTER A PPV. Not only does it cut into the buildup for THEIR BIGGEST PPV OF THE YEAR, but it wasnt announced and maybe some people who dont go to forums or read internet wrestling news wont tune in the next week. Football is a huge competitor but Raw deals with Monday Night football all the time and PPVs will be going directly against Sunday night games from here on out. A "special time" for the episode wouldnt be as bad but this is a dumb move either by Spike or TNA.

RAW goes against MNF with a leg to stand on. They'll still get above a 3. TNA would nosedive against a good match-up. Either Spike or TNA doesn't want another 0.6, which would be extremely likely. Spike feels the evening would be a total loss. They want to keep one of their strongest shows from getting demolished.
