Ok, I watched some of Rex's press confrence. Umm Why was he so nice? It was weird. You talk a big game and win, mouth off more, that's what'd I do lol Also as someone said Brady looked bad after the game and I don't mean they lost bad, but sickly bad. Not heathly at all. Probably because he realizes that no matter how badly he talks, he cannot possibly be the bad guy in a game where the opposing team is led by a serial rapist. As such, he decided that he should show that he can be humble for once in order to spare America from having to choose which one of them would be the lesser evil. That would actually be awesome. I would love if the Jets turned face this week, if only to prevent me from vomiting during the week of coverage from ESPN.

Pats overacheived during the regular season. They have an undrafted offensive backfield of Green-Ellis/Woodhead and one of the most thrown together WR corps you'd ever see. PLus guys like Deadrick,Ninkovich and Arrington on D. Thats not a good team, no matter who's taking the snaps. Lots of rookies on this team, one of the youngest defenses in the league, a good future (For as long as Brady plays) Pats need to draft O-Line and PAss rush, Period with the 6 picks they have in the first 3 rounds., This, I know alot of people don't know my name, but I said during the season mutliple times, that if this team got down 10/14 points the offense wasn't good enough to come back and sadly I was right. Also God knows Bill will trade one of the 1st rd picks for a 2nd and two 2nd's for a 3rd this year and a 2nd next year. The Pats don't spend money and it's f***ing annoying. Bill loves Julius Peppers and the Pats needed a pass rusher yet they didn't give him the money. That should tell you something.

This could be fun. I think the Colts are the misunderstood kid that people hate and you can't completely ever figure out why. I can tell you why. The NFL basically made Peyton the face of the league. Great for me as a Colts fan, but it rubs everyone else the wrong way. Add to that the fact that he has been very hit or miss in the playoffs and you have people that enjoy seeing him fail a little too much. The thing is that it is not as if he runs off at the mouth to deserve that hate. He always measures everything that he says and rarely gets a case of the Rex Ryans (or the TO's, if that amuses you more). Maybe the fact that he is a little machine-like rubs people the wrong way. To me, that's why it's the best player in the league. His humbleness. He doesn't swagger, doesn't trash talk, nor does he act like a prima donna on the field and to the media. He never acts like he's above everyone else or demand that all attention be on him and isn't afraid to make fun of himself either. He doesn't have any bling on him or surround himself with the papparazi. So what if he'd rather watch tape of games in the 80s than guest star in a Rap Video or make a big scene at a nightclub? Growing up and seeing his Dad play year after year on a losing team and being the only bright spot on them I think taught him humility and that he's achieved success on the field that his father could only dream of achieving.

And people always hate the successful teams, it is not a "people hate them, and I do not get why" thing, it is a "people hate them because they always win" thing. No one wants to watch someone else perpetually succeed. Add in the fact that Manning has beaten almost every damn team in the league with a last second drive at least once, and you have a recipe for hatred.

*Clears throat*
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BEARS
What more could I have asked for at the start of the season? Bears hosting Packers for all the marbles in the NFC and the right to face the Steelers or Jets in Dallas.
And Jay Cutler becomes the only QB in NFL history other than Otto Graham with 2 passing and 2 rushing TD in the same playoff game.

Peyton Manning = John Cena or the Rock, if we're doing the whole NFL = WWF attitude Attitude of John Cena, but without all the championships. Maybe he's Kane. Intimidating monster who scares teams to the point that they will do anything (including stupid 4th & 2 calls) to keep him away from the ball, but for all his ferocity and power, he only has one shining moment to fall back on. Though I think Kane loses too much to be Peyton.

It is going to be unbearable around here for the next month. I am right in the middle of Fudgepackabear country. Northern IL on the Wisconsin border. Both teams fans are bad enough normally. Welcome to my world. Yeah, though I hate both teams so I have no solace at all. On the bright side my friend's band (from Madison no less) Sunspot, had a song played during the game, called Go Pack.

Honestly, I've always laughed at any spot that tries to portray Peyton as a badass or some huge tough guy. I dunno, to me he seems like the biggest dork...that just happens to know how to be really good at being a QB. Definitely a lovable guy.

Because both #1 seeds lost this weekend, they will be the coaching staffs for the Pro Bowl.
