Anything else you'd like to say about the Pats, Bart Scott? What about Coach Belichick?
Ok, that was a little uncalled for.
*Report: James Harrison has been fined $10,000 because Scott called him fat.*

Because both #1 seeds lost this weekend, they will be the coaching staffs for the Pro Bowl. I'm sure FOX loves that viewers will get to hear Belichick from the sidelines the whole game. Their only other dream choice would have been Jim Caldwell.

Don't like the Jets, though I don't outright loathe them the way I do the Pats or the Steelers, so I'm glad they stomped on New England. Can't say I liked their bravado from the get-go, but delivering on it is something different altogether, and in that way I really did what they did. I actually prefer it to teams with players that obviously exhibit those tendencies, but tend to hide it. That, and I usually tend to be pretty amused by that which tends to tick most others off, so I'd have little issue with the Jets winning next week or even afterward.
Can't help but root for Rodgers though. Aaron Rodgers is that popular kid that you want to hate for being so good, just because everyone loves him, but once you get to know him you realize he's a pretty cool guy and even begin to like and shake his around once you see him around.

So how many foot references did Welker have after the game?
"They put a foot in our asses"?

Probably because he realizes that no matter how badly he talks, he cannot possibly be the bad guy in a game where the opposing team is led by a serial rapist. As such, he decided that he should show that he can be humble for once in order to spare America from having to choose which one of them would be the lesser evil. That would actually be awesome. I would love if the Jets turned face this week, if only to prevent me from vomiting during the week of coverage from ESPN. Yeah, this next week is going to suck listening to the media play Kevin Eubanks to Rex Leno's constantly unfunny jokes *fake belly laughs* "You're crazy, Rex!" *more fake belly laughs*. I guess I'd take the obnoxious foot freak over the sexual predator. I never thought I'd see the day when Bill's cheating would be the lesser evil but that time seems to have come. Go Pack/Bears!

I can tell you why. The NFL basically made Peyton the face of the league. Great for me as a Colts fan, but it rubs everyone else the wrong way. Add to that the fact that he has been very hit or miss in the playoffs and you have people that enjoy seeing him fail a little too much. The thing is that it is not as if he runs off at the mouth to deserve that hate. He always measures everything that he says and rarely gets a case of the Rex Ryans (or the TO's, if that amuses you more). Maybe the fact that he is a little machine-like rubs people the wrong way. To me, that's why it's the best player in the league. His humbleness. He doesn't swagger, doesn't trash talk, nor does he act like a prima donna on the field and to the media. He never acts like he's above everyone else or demand that all attention be on him and isn't afraid to make fun of himself either. He doesn't have any bling on him or surround himself with the papparazi. So what if he'd rather watch tape of games in the 80s than guest star in a Rap Video or make a big scene at a nightclub? Growing up and seeing his Dad play year after year on a losing team and being the only bright spot on them I think taught him humility and that he's achieved success on the field that his father could only dream of achieving. Humility? Peyton Manning? That is the same guy who: Threw his OL under the bus after a playoff loss. Called Mike Vanderjagt a "liquored up idiot kicker" Has been shown to be a big whiner/pouter when things don't go his way. Humility and Peyton Manning don't exactly belong together.

After which James Harrison was fined $24,000 by the league. Anyways, Clay Matthews stepped up to sign the hat, which shows he's a nice guy even though he's a destroyer of men. And maybe some small villages somewhere ... To give some context, Aaron already gave her an autograph after the game vs. Philly and she has not complained about not getting one after the Falcons game. Also, Caly Matthews was informed a head of time which is why he immediately stopped.

Both sides have a 2nd seed versus a 6th seed. The Super Bowl is 2/6. Just felt like pointing that out.

I know it ruffles feathers and all that but is anyone buying this?
Second point does this mean he can't retire as a Packer? I don't know about the technicalities of these things.

Thing is, this is Brett Favre. And this is the second time he's filed those papers with the NFL. He's the Terry Funk of the NFL. I'll wait and see. If there's nothing set yet, I'm setting it at -5.

On another point, give that man Rodge the belt! ;D

Yeah I'm not buying that Favre is going to retire. If we can make it to the beginning of next season without seeing him at a team facility then I'll buy it, but I'm taking a wait and see attitude with Mr. "Look at me!"
