What are some of the best success stories of adult actors that started out as child actors?
The opposite of Lindsay Lohan if you will.
One that comes to mind is Seth Green. Started out around 8 or 9 (with very unfortunate teeth size)) and still get steady work at 30 something.

Elijah Wood has done pretty awesomely, himself. His co-star Sean Astin has done pretty well for himself. Jerry O'Connell hasn't set the world on fire, but he still finds steady acting jobs. Of course he wasn't a big child star, but he still was able to go from the fat kid in Stand By Me to having a good career. |

Ron Howard has to be on top of the list in my opinion. I loved the Andy Griffith Show, Happy Days, and he has had an excellent directing career. I can't think of a child star who has had that level of success or staying power. He really hasn't gone away since the 60's.
