In regards to the Eddie Death Exploitation, I often wonder how Rey felt about his push and the exploitation. I am certain that Chavo and Vickie felt it was a bit offensive. It would surprise me if Rey thought that way. It's one thing to dedicate matches to some dead friends/colleagues/relatives. I mean, seriously, do you remember how long Rey wore the EG armbands? I noticed that Chris Benoit wore the armband for a little, as did Chavo. I even noticed that with Super Crazy and Psicosis. Royal Rumble wins, title wins, they went a little overboard with the dedications.
I even cringed at the Chavo/Rey feud from 2006, especially with Vickie being added to the mix. The only thing good out of it was the fact that they put on some decent matches, but it was still cringeworthy.
Later on, Chavo started feuding with Benoit. Was Eddie ever mentioned in the angle? I know that in real life, Eddie and Chris were really close, like family even, but I am trying to remember if that was as bad as the Chavo Guerrero/Rey Mysterio feud.

The 'E shouldn't be blamed for Eddiesploitation-- it basically was 99% on account of the audience demand. People would always chant 'Ed-die...Ed-die' whenever a latin wrestler who had anything to do with Eddie entered the ring, so rather than ignoring them all like a jackass they decided to make Rey the 'face' of the Eddie tributes. If they didn't do this, it would be as ridiculous as when J.R. and King would attempt to lie when saying that everybody loves John Cena (when the crowd is clearly booing him to hell during a PPV match).
The only person who really tried to cash in on Eddie's death was Batista, TBH. And only then because Batista and Eddie were a tag team at the time of Guerrero's death, so Batista called himself Eddie's 'best friend' in a few promos immediately afterwards. Thankfully that didn't last too long, especially after Vickie became a permanent fixture in the WWE.
Nonetheless, I would say that the 'sleaziest' moment I've ever witnessed was Val Venis's penis being chopped off by Kientai on live TV at the end of RAW, without any kind of closure at all until next week when Val explained that the 'table was too cold for the Big Valbowski'-- sleaze at it's absolute best!

Or Candice Michelle giving HHH oral sex under the picnic table while HBK was looking for the Iron Sheik, or somebody. Candice didn't give HHH oral sex under the picnic table. She and HHH BOTH recieved oral sex under the picnic table while HBK looked for Mr. Fuji. There's something you don't hear everyday.

What about Vince Mcmahon feeling up Candice Michelle's breasts and legs with her short skirt while she's sitting on his lap, and talking about Candice's "labia-gitis" or something like that, and how "it's kind of cute". Or Canidce Michelle going into Vince dressing room to have screaming orgasms by simply being touched. Or Candice Michelle giving HHH oral sex under the picnic table while HBK was looking for the Iron Sheik, or somebody. Yeah, Candice Michelle wins this one. that last one got them thrown off TSN (Canadian ESPN). considering all the other crap TSN was fine with, I wonder if it was because they crossed a line, or simply because TSN never wanted wrestling to begin with and just had an excuse to finally get rid of them.

TSN also never showed female wrestlers getting attacked by male wrestlers...for some reason. So this was TSN's philosophy: You can swear, bleed, make lots of sexual innuendos and have scantily clad women running around. but implied oral sex and women sloppily getting hit is a big No No.

When Scott Steiner debuted (or redebuted if you like) in late 2002 and he was a "free agent", Stephanie tried to get him to come to Smackdown buy kinda sorta implying that she'd give him "favours" if you will. Of course when Steiner goes to sign the contract he wants to "seal the deal" right then and there, to which Steiner basically tries to rape Stephanie in the ring. Bear in mind Steiner was supposed to be the face here. Oh and when Stephanie gets Steiner to back off, the highly informed crowd chant "slut" at her. For NOT doing Steiner in the middle of the ring. Yeah. Thanks for the warning for the 12/12/02 episode of SD!, I just seen how Stephanie told Eric Bischoff on RAW (12/9/02 episode) that she's going to sign Scott Steiner because she "can offer him things [Eric] can't. Holla if ya hear me." (Steph was scouring Eric and then gesturing to her own "assets" when she said this.) Another one that rubbed me the wrong way: Ted DiBiase offering a "female fan" (turns out it was Linda McMahon) to get on all fours and bark like a dog...for a few C-notes. Goldust was so sleazy at one point (the Razor tattoo & seductive fondling, the "Hollywood Back Lot Brawl" at WM XII with Roddy Piper stripping him down to a teddy and G-string) they had to tone down the character because they were getting scared of the backlash. (To think Dustin wanted to "go even further" makes me cringe.) Now (mid-to-late 1996), instead of even HINTING that he might be gay or bisexual, Vince would use the terms "different", "unique", "eccentric" or "androgynous". (Shoot, they even bleeped when Jerry Lawler asked him if he was "queer" down the line.)

You could hear Lawler say the 'q' word for gay.

Out of anything mentioned here, I have to say that Stephanie's 9/11 comments were the worst. Just really dumb and in poor taste. No, your father getting in trouble for doing some shady stuff is nothing like the tragic deaths of a few thousand people. A tragedy that has drastically impacted the course of history is nowhere near something that only people that follow wrestling give a shit about.
I don't really get the uproar over the Piggy James thing. Michelle and Layla are two narcissistic heels. I think it makes sense that they'd pick on the face over her weight when they think it will be a touchy subject. Of course Mickie isn't fat, the heels aren't supposed to be right.
