Ok, now I'm gettig worried. They're trying to cram too much into this film. The Dark Knight had The Joker, Two-Face, and the Scarecrow in it without being crowded. It's all about structure. Exactly.

Unless something is officially announced, take any and all rumours with a grain of salt. Remember, both Penguin and Black Mask were rumoured to be in TDK until literally just before they started filming. I'd be willing to bet that Hugo Strange won't be in this movie. As for Levitt, I don't know about that one either. It wouldn't be the first time an actor Nolan has worked with in the past has been rumoured to be in one of these movies (Robin Williams, Guy Pearce, etc.)

Didn't Nolon go on record saying that he wouldn't be bringing Robin into this series? Yeah, he did. But he also said that he'd never use Catwoman, yet the cinematographer for The Dark Knight Rises did an interview a couple of days ago about doing a costume test with Anne Hathaway. Bottom line, people change their minds all the time. That being said, I don't believe Levitt would be Robin. He's far too old. Dick Grayson only works if his parents are murdered before he's an adult. Otherwise, the entire character doesn't work.

JGL would make a fun Nightwing though, a slightly older guy, still younger than Bruce who goes down the same path as Bruce went, just without the super years of training.
I'd buy it, and would actually like to see it.
On saying that, he would be a pretty perfect Riddler.

MY PENIS HAS SPOKEN!

Who knows he could be a reporter like Anthony Michael Hall was in the last one. When he was announced everyone was doing the same thing who is he the riddler? a new mob boss? and he wound up being a news reporter. Levitt could be the new DA elected to replace Dent, the new mayor, he's too young to be the new commissioner but maybe Gordon's new partner now that the spanish chick is out (ramirez?)

He could.........but I'm of the thought that he shouldn't.
Sure, lots of people have played and likely will play, the Joker, but being that Ledger died making the last one, I'd feel weird seeing someone else playing the same character in those circumstances.

It also had the longest running time (150 minutes) of any Bat-movie yet. If DKR is around 140 minutes, it shouldn't feel cluttered.

If this happens, I will pay to see movie in a theater. Also, It looks like Harley Quinn will never grace a live action Batman movie. Britney Murphey would have been PERFECT as Harley. Tell me about it. She's the only one I think I could accept in that role.

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the fact I felt it went on too long and the conclusion of the Two Face storyline should have concluded during the next movie. many more people disagree with me than you I'm sure but whenever Isee it I think the same thing.

Yeah the first time I saw TDK I thought it was too long as well but after a few more viewings I dont mind the length at all. Count me in too as someone who hopes Two-Face isnt dead and appears in the third film.

I've always said this. Murphy definitely had the acting chops to pull off cute, bubbly, demented, and sympathetic all at the same time. Hell, she even looked like Harley. I can't see anyone else perfect for the role, even with Brittany gone. Probably Christina Ricci, but even so I think Murphy would have totally dominated the role. It's a damn shame Ledger and Murphy are gone, I would have KILLED to see these 2 together in the movie.

Man, this movie is gonna be HUGE. Between how well Dark Knight did, Nolan's reputation being cemented even further, and the additions of Hathaway and JGL, the box office take for this movie is gonna be ridiculous.

Wait, wait, wait.
Are they making DK Rises or Inception 2?
I hope JGL gets to heel it up in this film.

Yet more speculation, but fun to B.S. about anywhoo: www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/joshw24/news/?a=29448Source: Ain't It Cool NewsCBM raised the point that since Joe G Levitt has been attached to the film that he could possibly be Dicky G. I've always been fine with the idea of Robin being in Nolan Batman because as his track record has shown, he'd handle it right.

I'd be cool with Robin making an appearance. It goes with my hopes that we'll get more than three movies, or maybe a spinoff.

Some news regarding a couple of Bat-Vehicles www.imdb.com/news/ni8256669/With the new Batmobile I thank since Bruce Wayne likes Lamborghini's he should heavily mod one to be the new Batmobile.
